Reliance on combat routines - good or bad?

Since using HB, I've gotten used to using it primarily as a rotation auto-mater. For some classes, in particular my Protection Paladin, it is invaluable, as it allows me to keep my eyes on the action (where they should be), and little if any time on the actionbars. Of course I still keep actionbars enabled (to monitor CDs and to manually use a skill if need be).

I have attempted to learn to press keybinds before many times, including very recently. However this has not been met with much success. I tried doing so for two reasons:

  1. To be able to play until HB has adapted to a new patch or expansion
  2. To take advantage of 64-bit WoW which HB, for reasons which still I don't get, doesn't like

So is there anyone else out there who uses HB as I do, for rotation helping?
I know I will be unable to use it when a ninja patch hits or Warlords of Draenor launches (until HB adapts to it), but could that be seen as a small sacrifice for using something that is greatly looked after and reliable to many users?

Rotation helping?
i only raid if i can use my lock rotation, i don't handplay it at all :P
9/10 in my guild uses a CR for our raids, and it's never the 9 of us with the bot that wipes.. it's always the 1 dude who fucks it up.

absolute necessary, i solo stuff for mounts and tank soo on my dk, wouldnt know the first thing about the class though.

HB is the only reason I play WoW anymore. If it weren't for HB, I'd stop playing completely.

If it wasnt for bots and combat routines I dont think I would pay for my subscription/play this game at all.

When WoD hits, HB will run Flawlessly... It did for Cata.. and MOP... =)

This I do not doubt. However it will have downtime so the devs can adapt it to WoD's new codes and whatnot, right?

wrong, WoD's Code will be on the PTR before it launches, therefore they always are able to get the coding done and USUALLY even a few scripts for Grinding 2 hours after WoD Release
