[Release] Doctrine RetRaider CC

Thanks, will have to get into a raid or dungeon in CATA sooner or later :) (haven't completed any and had CATA since release day.) May be this will help :)

I just ran a zandalari and landed on 13.8K overall dps with manually used cd's. was around 16k on bosses. hows y'all other's results?
 
Did ZA/ZG last night.

I pulled 12-15k on trash.

18k+ on Bosses.

Automatic CDs and everything, only thing I did manually was Rebuke.

349 iLevel Ret Paladin.

Can you attach your settings-file? So i can see if it improves my dps.

I use the default Doctrine settings. I'd suggest a clean install of Honourbuddy, the latest version of RetRaider, and see if that helps. If not, it is probably an issue of poor gear -- perhaps you have no hit which could account for such low dps.

No problem. You should be able to edit your settings file (located in the Doctrine CustomClass folder, and in the subfolder 'Settings') and change the line <Setting_Party_UseBuff>0</Setting_Party_UseBuff> to <Setting_Party_UseBuff>1</Setting_Party_UseBuff>. The next release will have a UI which will make changing settings much easier.

I've done that now, and I will check back later once my gf's done with her rbg's :) Also I dunno about her stats, she's 353 equipped currently. Gonna load her char in asmkrrobot and see what I could do to fix her stats. Thanks for taking your time :)

Mr. Robot - World of Warcraft nice, never even knew that site, got the shits with RAWR so this will do, even brought the mobile app for the heck of it. Will try the .cc out on the weekend, when I can stop the new HB shrinking to my taskbar and never coming back that is:(

Just did a Zul'Aman run beginning with Jan'Alai and topped the overalldps with 14k.
Malacrass - 16.1k
Daakara - 13k
Did some reforging so its an improvement, but she still has alot of blue's equipped so that can be the bottleneck.
 
is this the same as the all in one?
Not sure if there were 2 for a reason
 
Sorry for the slow reply, I didn't notice your post until now. :)

Simply put, Doctrine RetRaider is the complete (and standalone) ret raiding CC that will eventually be merged with the Doctrine base. The reason I have created two different threads is because I wanted to release something wholly complete and working to introduce people to the concept of my CCs. Once I have finished ret entirely (in every situation, raiding, questing, etc) and merged it when the Doctrine base then RetRaider will have no purpose and this thread will be removed.

Could well be a gear cap then, indeed. Group composition also matters. I have to say though, those numbers seem very low to me -- do you have a log you could post?
 
Hey all, just to let you know two things:

1) RetRaider will soon be merged with the Doctrine base and they will become one-and-the-same. This will probably happen tomorrow.

2) I have committed a new version of Doctrine using BehaviorTrees and ability queueing to my SVN (fiftypence - Revision 3: /trunk/Doctrine) with Ret raiding support. I am not ready to label this a stable build yet as it has not been tested through more than one heroic, but from what I can see the DPS increase on the newest version is significant. I did 51k dps in itemlevel 362 gear on Zanzil (with red buff and heroism, no adds though) -- the boss just dropped dead. Everything is much more responsive. Lua has been used to cast each ability a 0.2 seconds before the GCD is up, meaning that they enter the ability queue and no time is wasted waiting between casts because of Honorbuddy. I would urge everyone to give the newest version a try and feedback your experience with it.

Really extreme CC i was really impressed :D I have just 2 problems.

1. It doesn't use zealotry in heroics (didnt rly try anything else than hcs)
2. It doesn't use wings+hammer

Any chance to fix that?

Hey, thanks for the feedback. :) Amongst other changes, the latest version on the SVN (which now works perfectly in heroics) should resolve the issue.

I deleted old one, and SVN-ed the one you gave me.

Are you using the english client?

I just tried the release of RetRaider in the OP and the cooldowns work perfectly for me -- and tried the SVN version too, and they work as well.

Could you try on the boss training dummy for me? Also, do you have a log at all?
 
Nevermind, its working as it should in this latest version. It just takes abit of time, before it uses those 2 :) Usually just on longer boss fights.

It is programmed to stack GoAK and AW/Zealotry. This means that it will cast AW/Zealotry together roughly 10 seconds into GoAK (20 remaining) to make full use of the stacking GoAK strength buff -- also, GoAK will only be cast when inquisition is up and has 20 seconds or more left on the buff. All your cooldowns should be running at around the 30-40 second mark of a fight, and then Zealotry/AW on cooldown after. GoAK will be cast on cooldown as well unless Zealotry/AW are about to come up, in which case it will wait so it can stack these cooldowns together.
