[Release] ArchaeologyBuddy and Gatherbuddy2 Bug Fixes

I've already posted my bugs on the BugTracker, but I thought I would lay out all my gripes here anyway. I have been trying to run AB damn near 24/7 for the last two months in the Eastern Kingdoms and this is what I've found consistent with the newest version:

Nek'man Wellspring is more fucked up than ever. It actually worked in v.4492 of HB, not quite sure what the hell you did, but either side of the actual spring in the dig site is bugged. The bot can't manage to land on the left side and he goes <away> and logs out after surveying on the right side.

Upper Jintha'Alor is a chaotic mess. For some reason, the bot gets stuck in combat which makes him feel that it's a good excuse to go idle and eventually log out. Either that will happen or it will take him 10-15 minutes just to find one fragment. This is due to the fact that he becomes RETARDED and does the opposite of what the spyglass says.

Shadra'Alor is STILL fucked up since MANY releases ago where the bot STILL can't figure out that he needs to get on his flying mount to reach the dig spot on the corner of the western-most temple. Like, HOLY SHIT teach me how to rewrite the script and I'll fix it myself!!

Pyrox Flats dig site - The bot decides that not ALL of the dig spots in this dig site exists on the surface, but inside the underground tunnels as well. So, he'll end up walking his happy ass down there to look for fragments. WTF.

I have to blacklist ALL of these dig sites if I want to go AFK for even an hour. And did you notice how many dig sites that is? Yup, the same amount of dig sites that you only get at a time on the map. And that means eventually I will have all four of these exact dig sites on my map forcing the bot to choose the closest one only to get "stuck" and incapable of continuing. Minus the spots where the bot would get stuck in a mid-air invisible whirlpool, I would rather have v.4492 back. At least then I wouldn't have to blacklist THREE Troll dig sites.

One more thing, please make the bot mount IMMEDIATELY after surveying instead of surveying, waiting (for some reason), mounting (by that time the spyglass disappears), surveying (again, because, apparently he forgot which direction the spyglass was facing), then mounting again (rinse, repeat.) I've witnessed the bot doing this up to 15 times in a row before he actually mounts before the spyglass disappears. And 15 times between each dig spot multiplied by...grr who gives a shit...it's a long time is what I'm saying! >:O

Why is it that i cant Blacklist Twilight Highlands for archeology i blackspot Dunwald Ruins digsite in twilight highlands and it stil goes there
 
I'm doing archaeology in eastern kingdom, because i farm troll for the 2h sword and dwarf 2h staff, thats why im in eastern kingdom. Havent tried in Kalimdor though. But then again, i'm just after troll and Dwarf dig sites and i'm getting alot of troll dig sites in STV. . Getting stuck over and over in those damn trees..
 
Please blacklist Dunwald Ruins dig site in twilight highlands raphus its really a shit digsite to many mobs overthere
 
Was anything even done in this release to AB? It seems the same now, maybe a little worse. The digsites I've had trouble with are still having issues. Nekmani Wellspring, Shardra Alor, I still have to blacklist these or the bot gets stuck. Also, whenever the bot tries to fly over ZG he gets dismounted and dies.

Haha yeah...I forgot about flying over ZG. That definitely needs to be rerouted.

it is bugged as the bot can not navigate up the higher level pier looking structure...
 
this plugin ABFix 1.2.cs saved the stucks for me it goes all good now in twilight highlands also

Also been using it, it's not very helpful really, I mean sure it occasionaly gets you unstuck by hearthing but what good does that make when you get stuck again next time you reach that site. One or two bugged sites is to be expected, but now that there's so many of them, and even places in between (flying between sites getting stuck in trees in areas that don't have dig sites) there's just no way ArchBuddy can be used at all at the moment, at least not in Eastern Kingdoms.

Just to give you an example I'm running three paladins with 310% mounts and crusader aura in Eastern Kingdoms at level 82 and 83 respectively, and they're making around Exp/h 160k, instead of the regular 450-500k which they should easily be making at the speed they're flying.

i have 310% speed also and its working fine for me:) i have it already on 525 im farming on the 2handed sword its really hard to get and im also a pally with crusader strike im using fpsware cc

The vast majority of buggy sites are in the 1-75 skill areas, with 525 you rarely get exposed to these sites, well, a lot less frequently than my paladins with 75 skill at least. Let's say you get stuck at low level sites 10% of the time, your chances of getting one out of 5-6 buggy low level sites are 5%, mine are closer to 70% (all percentages are 90% totally made up :) ).

Yep thats an issue for sure. The bot really isnt afk'able.
I mainly bot EK but this is what I know.

Nakmani Wellspring. This one fucks it a lot. There is 2 fragments across the bridge and it always undershoots when flying and falls in the water -_- Another issue with this same site is if you manually move it across the bridge and the fragment is on the other side it cant figure out how to move across to the next survy.

Infectis Scar Fossil. Still gets stuck in the water now and then.

Trees. Rather than backpedaling and going around it endlessly tries to fly into them.
Numerous places where a character is 2 tall to walk under a tree branch or something along those lines and just tries the same action indefinitely.

There is few issues for the brief time I ran it in Kalm which are exactly the same.

IMO the WORST thing is that "logout for inactivity" does work. Its great coming home and finding a few whispers from people asking why I dont just walk around the tree -_-

Sad because it was a better bot a few version back. At least I could afk that with only 2-3 blacklisted sites.
 
Just saying, alot of the troll digsites in EK are still bugged. Char gets stuck there ALL the time until DC or i intervene

The only thing that is still really buggy for me, is the solve artifacts automatically option. I can literally leave this on forever and never face a problem if I have that deselected. Which I am totally cool with. Only issue, is that Night Elf artifacts are much more easy to get in Kalimdor, therefore my character always has the max he can carry when I leave it on. So what he does, he keeps trying to loot the next Night Elf artifact over and over with the 'inventory full' message continuously popping up.

Is there a way I can set it to ONLY solve Night Elf artifacts? Whenever I leave it to solve all artifacts, the game crashes after he sits there doing nothing when it is time to solve. Looking at the log, it is as if my character continues trying to solve artifacts, even when he does not have any more. Then it crashes WOW.

I am going for the Tol'Vir vanity pet and mount. That is why Night Elf is putting a damper in things.

P.S.looks like not =(, Deepholm probably works for the horde, but not for the alliance

P.P.S. looks like Vash'jir is not fixed either. Neither repair, nor mailbox is working...too sad, empty promises all the time. It just comes to the repair guy, opens dialog window, does nothing for a few seconds, then goes back to farming. Doesn't repair, doesn't mail. If you call that fixed, I'm a Santa.

Apparently you are santa. Definately something wrong with your HB, mailbox in Vashjr has been working just fine since ever and this does actually fix repair as well. Redownload both the HB2 and fix and try again.
