Hello,
Do you know a cheat or software to regrade weapons and armor?
I'm tired of spending all my golds to ultimately always fall in purple. :mad:

It's the only thing I was ever able to find on regrade hacking/exploiting - however, I highly doubt it is both still possible nor real. The software shown in the video resembles "fake programs" people usually use to trick people (primarily on YouTube) into downloading, and then infecting their computer with malware in order to hijack account information. However, the video gives no detail on any type of downloading. It appears to be simply an instructional video for that person's guild. Based on my experience in game hacking, what the software is doing in this video (the concept) is actually probably quite possible (or may have been at that time).

Again, this video is super old, but the concept of packet manipulation may be the only way of doing such a thing. Would you want to do that though? Likely not. It'd ruin the game and its economy pretty badly.
 
that video was a spoof to undermine a clan.

now, i highly doubt its even possible as RNG is totally serverside. its mostlikely ppl that are able to dupe item that achieve those regrades. (no gold pain, no regrade pain)
 
It's not packet manipulation, it's packet reading. When given an input it will generate a list of pseudo-random numbers, this input is the seed. Once you identify the exact seed, you can easily determine the exact numbers that will be generated. It's simply a formula that's based on variables and functions. It may be possible to do this since you can bypass hackshield with ease, but it would require some effort from someone who knows what they're doing.

And packet injection for regrading is possible as well, however, the item would be easily detected by Trion and removed.

Unfortunately, to find the seed, I'd assume you need server access (which will not happen). Additionally, the same seed is likely being used by the server for tons of pseudo-RNG requests, so I really don't think it's feasible even if you managed to get the seed.
 
If anyone can achieve that, pm me, I am willing to negotiate generous terms.
 
even as badly coded AA can be. i doubt they just send the seed to the client. if that was true, rng was client side which clearly its not.

The chances of something like that happening are close to none. You'd have to essentially socially engineer someone who works for XL Games, or become buddy-buddy with them IRL, buy them a few drinks and talk about seeds (probably not the best idea) :p
 
besides seeds are most lilely recalculated on each server boot...
