Regarding "Renaming HB" Help Please!!

I did this on my desktop computer and now I was doing it on my new alienware laptop and I am fallowing exactly what u have provided but now when I launch HB it says "Logging in" then 20 seconds later says "Internet explorer as stopped working"

internet explorer because that's what Im disguising my client as... why is it doing this? if I launch the original client it works fine.... any help?

That doesn't work anymore. Changing HB with the program mentioned will cause HB to crash.

The only thing you can do to change the name is changing the honorbuddy.exe to something else. It won't change all the info but atleast in your process list in task manager it doesn't show up as honorbuddy.exe

If you had read the thread better you would have seen the comments that it doesn't work anymore

now how come it doesn't work anymore? is that with the new hb update?????

Because this way you can't temper with the file and do something stupid that might make you detectable or that someone could release a version with for example a keylogger in it and spread it on the internet I guess.

The latest updates for HB have nothing to do with this, it has been this way for a while now as far as I know.
