Contacted Blizz Rep in regards to new Diablo 3 licenses purchased if your account was banned.

Wanted to know if when I bought a new copy of the game, would it still have all my GM talks and knowledge of a previous ban on there..

Here is the conversation its good info ;P LOL and kinda funny

ME:

I'm pretty sure someone got on there and was using my diablo account, it appears banned.

ME:

So if I repurchase Diablo 3, and get a new key.. does it keep all my info off my old account or does it wipe out all notes/changes, etc and its considered fresh and old account is completely gone?

thx.

BLIZZ:

Greetings,

Thank you for contacting us today, I am sorry we did not get to speak personally about this issue, but I will definitely do my best to address your ticket.

I understand you are asking what happens to the information if a new Diablo III account is put on the Battle.net account. If you do this, the new Diablo III will have its own information, not the old account information. It will be a completely new account and fresh. We will have the old information on file, separately, however.

Let us know if you need any other assistance with this matter.

Alright cool, I will go buy a new account and bot that one then, on a ***** :P

Should start selling a bot of your own you might make some money, instead of banning and wasting our time/money :P

Thanks,
B.

Some good info... always make a NEW account UN-associated with your old one and new e-mail etc.. pretty obvious to do that but this clarifys that.

lol nice nice. me like.

For some reason it censored *****[/QUOTE

First off, welcome to DB Forums.

Secondly, we don't use that word around here >.< LOL

Just edit that last post real quick :)

*Edit

Also, I like your last comment. Fuck Blizz.

I cant believe you had to make a ticket to figure this out lmao.

Even with the new account, you will be IP flagged.

If you use a well known ***** service, you will be account flagged.

best bet: rotate MAC of your modem and NIC, roll a new account and do NOT use the same email or something for gods sake. Even a new Bday if youre paranoid.

lol wat not sure if right

I meant that if Blizz has banned an account from your IP you bet they didnt forget it.

If they suspect another bot from that same IP it will be an easy call for CS to look at the IP history and see it has recent account closures associated with it. Boom.

The rest was self explanatory I thought.

what if i bot with one account and they ban me? After that, can i still safely create a new account (with new email) BUT using the same computer and ip (and obviously, not botting again with the new one)?

Yes. You don't sell your car because it ran out of gas one time.

i mean: is it safe in the way i said? or they would ban also the new account just because it plays from the same computer and ip, even if botfree?

If it's a bot-free account then of course you have nothing to worry about. You could go in their forums and tell them you're botting (because you aren't) and nothing will happen.

thanks for sharing.

you all forget that every botter waves a giant "ban me" flag only because of his huge uptime running the bots... because of the relogger, because of the pathing and 100's of other data blizzard's warden will collect.

Many botter (including me) guess it is just a waste of time to care about ip/hardware-id/v_p_n/deletingparagon100 and such ideas.
But the desperation and the fear loosing acc's forces us to think about this stuff. I am sitting in the same boat.

I am curios what will happen end of this week... O.o
