Regarding Cata release date announcement

Since the announcement ive noticed my farming has skyrocketed. Where before i was farming with upto a dozen Alliance or Horde now there may be one or two floating about in Shoalz or Storm Peaks. Selling the stuff on the AH seems to have dropped considerably but it really doesnt bother me as i smelt the ore and sell it to vendors anyway, i only sell the herbs and Eternals on the AH.

How is everyone else fairing on their servers? Are you guys noticing a diminished farming presence also? or are you finding lots more people farming preparing for Cata launch?
 
Since blizzard announced the Cata date, AH prices on my server pretty much doubled on all the herbs = )
 
its not about the cataclysm release date its more about the unknown, patch 4.01 release date, since who know when if ever we will be able to bot again.since they just released a patch on the PTR, my guess would be at least another 2 weeks, before the "final" goes live, but who knows. so of course people are going to stock up, who knows when they are going to get to again.
 
Yeah kind of strange hey, i thought lots of people would be stockpiling mats and farming lots, but not many at all seem to be farming most people seem to be spending shit loads of time farming badges and stuff for the gold exchange and new points xfers.
on my server herbs are the lowest ive seen them i use to sell lichbloom for 55g a stack its down to 19g now. adders tongue etc is steady at 15g. epic gems are stupidly low at 60g each no matter what kind
Anyway was just thought id ask how the rest of yas were going with it :)
 
is there any tests going on with gb/hb on the ptr? and does anyone know an estimate of how long it will be unbotable for.
 
Titansteel is now selling for a whopping 65 gold each on my server. Down from 100+ just 2 weeks ago.
 
Expecting and preparing for my bans, bots running as usually and I'll be extremely happy if I'm not affected lol

The changes class wise are fairly simple from my snooping around the PTR and Beta. There are rumors the patch will be soon.. Id say a little less than 2 weeks maybe 4-10 days?

Just would like to mention Honorbuddy and Gatherbuddy don't work on the PTR or Beta.. but you can start scripting profiles, CCs, and other from the information given out by it..

do you think there will be lots of bans when cata comes? or is everyone expecting it to be the usual ban based on reports.

I'm not certain it will actually happen but I am preparing for it anyway.

Warden has been quite for a few month's so i put my money on when Cata goes live for people being very dissapointed :)
 
I don't know why but there are a lot of people on my server that ask for tons of mats(wotlk). Yesterday i sold hundreds of stacks to just one single person...it's really crazy at the moment and i can confirm, ah prices raised up about 50% on my server.
 
Prices on starting herbs have gone up ALOT it was either silverleaf or peacebloom that i was selling for 40g a stack
