Recent Settigs with honor buddy

How can I get Honorbuddy to save the settings I had it to last time I used it?
I got this plugin that takes alot of time to configure it, so I would like to know if its possible to save your settings then close Honor Buddy, so that when you open it again the same plugins and the same settings are still set please respond some one!

I've noticed the same problems with a clean hb installation.
I tried to edit the charaktersettings.xml, the levelbotsettings, the uisetting...
Also tried write protecting the xml files.

Can someone explain me which files I've to edit and save (or write protect) to ensure that the settings remains the same after a restart.
I've problems with the questbot.

Pulldistance changes after a restart, Grind between Hotspots from False to True, and so on.


I'ld like to do it with xml files and not everytime via gui, because it's harder to implement in arelog or other reconnect tools.


Another questing:
I tried to fix the location of the hb window. Didn't work after a restart...
A sticky would be nice with a few informations about the settings config without gui.

Imo this is a bug with Hb Tony.
I have seen the problem being decribed several times on the forums now. I can link you to the threads if you want.
I also encountered that one myself with GB2.
I set up a new toon installed the bot and entered a mail recipient into the Gb2 config. When I woke up the next day the bot was doing nothing telling me that GB2 was set to mail to alt but no mail recipient was entered. All my setting were there but the mail recipient was gone. The problem happened several times on several toons. I fixed that by entereing the mail recipient into the unnamed charcter_config file in the Hb settings folder and write protecting the settings files but even then on one occation my config got reset.
At 2 occasions Hb had wiped out all my settings. For example it was set to hearth and exit instead of mailing and was herbing and mining instead of just mining as I had set it to.
The error also happens with grindbot where I had set it to skin mobs and after about 2 hours (in which the bot did not get retarted or anything was done to it the bot had stopped to use mounts as the box "Use mount" was unticked and it also was set to not loot mobs and not to skin mobs though I had set it to use mount and to loot and skin mobs.
When I leave BgBuddy runnign overnight it always (happens 95% the time) somewhere in the night HB unticks "use mount" by itself. This happens even when there are no dcs.
I have required programs installed and tried reinstalling HB and all that stuff. This happens no matter if I have my AV running or if its deactivated. I tried running HB without plugins and the error still happened.
The profiles I use for farming do 100% not change any settings as I wrote them by myself and no such stuff is in there.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one with this problem
The error occurs with 1 or 2 hb sessions running.

Resets during runtime pulldistance from 40 yards to 1! Sets Grinding to True, Disables Looting...
CC is Singular! Not working as intended.

I didn't test different honorbuddy.exe names. Could help, but I don't expect it (they allready have different PID).

Kick's Profiles for Questing. Updated via SVN. It's 99.9% not a profile issue.

Can confirm this; I always need to double check is alt-mail recipient is there. Usually it's gone
Also Mining, Herbing, Leanr flight-paths... all these settings go to default after HB restart. Not always though... :/
