Actually everything has to do with anything. Even you not buying something at one moment in time or buying it afterward has something to do with a ban or a no ban.

Although this might be considered flaming or bad language for me, here is my view on the whole botting and bans business.

IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE USERS!

Oh it didn't sound bad?
Here is the explaining:
In the "old days" botters were mostly computer geeks that actually knew how the bot ran and kept it private. It took alot of knowledge and skill to make a bot and use it nicely.
Now, with bots becoming more and more popular and "EASY TO USE" developers have made their bots public and almost everyone can get a bot for a rather small fee.
...and here comes the nasty part.
Everyone includes the smart guys, the medium guys and the stupid guys(oh bad language...I am sorry). While 99% of the time smart and medium guys don't get banned and actually can make use of the bot, the stupid guys always complain and usually they are the ones that get banned.

Everything on this forum is against Blizzard and once you clicked "Start Botting" you can almost kiss your account goodbye. It will happen sooner or later.
What the devs are doing is postponing the inevitable(lets hope it will never come).
The bot is undetected(client anti-***** wise) but the users do stuff that is stupid and gets detected via server side fail-safes.

There should be a huge disclaimer that warns people about this but I am sure almost noone will actually read it.

At this time I am running 2 HBs in Europe and I have 6 farmers that I run for 12-16 hours a day. No bans for the past few years. Why? Cuz I actually think for myself and I am cautious when I do stuff or I am just really really lucky!

HB and GB are two incredible tools with a shitload of power embedded in them. With great power comes great responsibility! I think users have forgot that...maybe they shouldn't have.

i like cheese!

i bot both EU and US, no ban wave so far, 3 wow on EU and 3 on US... set my GB logout when bagfull or 8hours.

so here is the email in regards to appealing their decision:

Hello Kickazz of the Buddy Forums,

Thank you for your follow-up email regarding the account WoW1. This account was issued a 72-hour suspension after evidence was produced indicating one or more characters on the account were found to be using an unauthorized che at program. These programs provide character benefits that are not achievable in the World of Warcraft through normal means. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, character automation (also known as "botting"), increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. These types of programs offer an unfair advantage over other players and supersede the intended limits of the game.

As a result of this determination and the harmful nature of unauthorized programs on the game environment, the action taken against this account will not be reversed. Please understand that we do not reach this decision lightly. This action has been taken in accordance with our Terms of Use (Blizzard Entertainment: World of Warcraft Terms of Use).

You edited it? or that is the real mail!?

You naysayers and haters can say what you want. Call me a conspiracy theorist, call me a rabble-rouser, but I think this poll conclusively shows that an astonishing percentage of forum members like cheese.

This is not something that we can simply ignore.

This is so true! I for one LOVE cheese, the stronger the better. I could MURDER a Rouchefort right about now!

I know it is wrong...
