Reason we all get banned? everyone watch this please.

Hello. in my opinion the reason we all got banned was the fact that bossland GMBH the company that owns honorbuddy has a connection with blizzard. i mean its weird everyone here getting banned. i believe the company gave our names and logs to blizzard for some reason, maybe because blizzard can close the company or something like that or go to court house. i need someone from the company to reply on this thread. Do not delete it. thanks this is not just for me is for everone that got their account got banned. im not trying to insult anyone or violate any rules. i just need an explanation
 
well i dont belive we get banned cuz bossland and the crew give em our logs, i guess we get banned for botting :P but well thats just me :D
 
yes but most of us bot for years why this happends now and on more than 200people in here? i still believe on what i say only i will change my mind if i get proof because im paying for the product.
 
You get your dang account closed for botting like a robot. Bot like a human or don't bot. Or you can just get banned. Bossland I'm sure has no "deals" with blizzard of this sort, that is just childish.

Yes you are right, less than 0.01% get banned and you assume they gave out our data?

If that were the case, and I understand why you'd worry about it, everyone using the bot would be banned. There would be no reason for Blizzard to slowly trickle out the bans and every reason for them to slam down hard to scare other users.

Blizzard is simply getting better (as are the other players) at detecting bots, especially bad profiles and bots that aren't monitored constantly.

look i bot like crazy ;) with all my account BG/Farming/reputation/leveling/ while im sleep and out maybe 18 or 20 hours a day and i never got banned also if i gor banned i dont care ill bot for ever u dont imagine some time when i lvling in dungeons i tell them take care of my bot ill go out of home they say dont care go lol so dont care and u will not banned This is my philosophy
 
well from now on i will stop using the bot ty for the 2m gold and the 11 90s :) i dont want to lose my acc bb everyone
 
I'd have to agree with the OP, it is plainly obvious that bossland gave out all our HB logins in attempt to get us all banned from WoW. Look at it like this, Blizzard is suing Bossland currently in the courts, Bossland MUST feed Blizzard with offenders such as my self to get us all banned to ease the punishment.... . . .. . .. . .. .....



BTW OP, you gotta be full of shit, you joined HB in 10-20-2012, you u got 2 million gold and 11 90's...

well thats my opinion mate, most are trying to say the opposite. the thing i know is i wont use it again neither my friends also to protect my privacy and account
 
You get banned, because other people report you. And once in a while they go through reports and do the called "banwave". thats all.

I'm new here but I'd imagine that in order to maintain business, site moderators wouldn't want to compromise their data. Why would you put yourself at a financial loss for no reason?

To be fair, in case you haven't heard, Blizzard is suing the company that makes the bot. However from what I've read ... if to be believed ... they are only being sued for now in Germany? Someone feel free to correct that. And the idea being that if they WERE forced to turn over their data it would be on German clients.

It is a risk. If they lose the case (I sort of assume they will) then they may well be compelled to turn over their client lists. I'd hope they'd appeal and string things out. TBH if they do and it is all clients, not just Germans, my main account will be gone. No dodging that one. But I hate leveling enough that I'm doing it anyway with the realization it could happen.

If we're lucky ... the bot owners don't keep track of IPs on the authentication server (no logs, or at least very limited ones that won't survive a reboot). But no way anyone here REALLY knows except for the owners ... so even if they said "your data is safe" you're taking them at their word.
