Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Abuse of
the Economy

This account was closed because one or more characters were identified
exchanging, or contributing to the exchange of, in-game property (items or gold)
for "real-world" currency. This exchange process negatively impacts the World of
Warcraft game environment by detracting from the value of the in-game economy.


is that thier secret way of saying we caught u botting? because the only real exchange of gold for nothing ive done is a friend loaned me 5k and i paid him back, but i rly got banned for 5k transfer? dont think so


also, is there some way i could get a refund on the bot i bought? i got banned >24hrs of use and dont rly intend to use it agin

Yes the risks of botting are obvious. It is stated everywhere on the forums that you bot at your own risk. Too bad sorry mate :)

Yep, i have several accounts that I have had this overturned on many times. Just open a ticket on battle.net saying you can't access/banned/want a review.
 
I think my bot was mailing shit to my mainwhen he got disconnected. Was using w00ts twilight highlands profile. I am sure I triggered some auto flag for sending so much mail within the last 72 hours

they basicly said when i asked for an appeal that since i been playing for years and this is my 1st time being caught, they wont give my acct back next time im caught

Thank you for contacting us concerning the recent action taken against the World of Warcraft account ******. While we understand your concerns regarding the status of this account, we take matters involving the integrity of the game environment very seriously.

Please take a few moments to look over the World of Warcraft Terms of Use (Blizzard Entertainment: World of Warcraft Terms of Use), which all players agree to upon initially logging into the game.

The Terms of Use state that you will not "...modify or cause to be modified any files that are a part of the Game Client or the Service in any way not expressly authorized by Blizzard" or "...use cheats, automation software (bots), hacks, mods or any other unauthorized third-party software designed to modify the World of Warcraft experience..."

Additionally, the Battle.net Terms of Use (Blizzard Entertainment: Battle.net Terms of Use) state that "You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the Login Information, and you will be responsible for all uses of the Login Information, including purchases, whether or not authorized by you."

Due to a second thorough review of the circumstances involved in this account action, we have made the decision to modify the previously communicated penalty. This additional review took into consideration a variety of factors including the history and standing of this account. Please understand that should another incident arise in the future, it is possible that a different outcome will be reached.

Please review our in-game penalties policy (Account Penalties - Support - Battle.net Support) which states that "we must also factor in the severity of the infraction and how often the player has violated our policies in the past. Based on these factors, the penalty may be moved up the Penalty Volcano, up to and including Account Closure."

If the previously issued action resulted in the closure of this account, the account has been reopened and access restored. Should any action be required in order to regain access to this account, an additional email will be sent from an @blizzard.com or @battle.net email address with further instructions. If no additional correspondence is received, you should be able to access this account using the password that was valid before the account closure.
 
Yep got the same thing. What were you doing when you got disconnected? I had three sessions of 5 hours in a row so maybe that was the cause

this is y the ban section is good. Together we find ways to combat the ban hammer
 
i did like 2hrs of whiptail farming, 2hrs of pvp, and 6hrs of twilightjasmine, only the twilight was unattended, was just kinda testing it out, and got banned like 10hrs after stopped botting whilt in BOT raid

It seems you have permanently suspended me due to "Exploitative Behavior". I do not understand where this misinformation you have come across has effected you to deem my account "bannable"

I am distraught at that ban reason i have irrationally been accused of, I have never committed or took part in "Abuse of the economy".
I take this accusation very seriously and will never look to do it myself, I have never took part in any illegal activity in-game.

People know me, I am a legit player, I will never commit such a serious offense, I know the consequences hence I would never look to do it.
Please match my IP address to the time when it happened, as I believe I may of had a hacker penetrate my account and commit the offense to get me banned.

I cannot stress to you my legitimate gaming style, I will never abuse any rules or try and gain myself an advantage over different players.

Please, I implore you to investigate my account so you may see I am telling the truth hence I deserve to be unbanned. Any more information you need I will be more than willing to provide you with just let me know.
