64 bit runs off a entirely different set of rules, and not everyone runs 64bit. Making software that only half the population can use that would have to be updated like the 32bit ver really is not cost affective. Plus there really is no reason to make a 64 bit version. 64bit is just how large data packets are sent threw your processor, if HB uses that much data we would have bigger issues. at the moment 64bit is just a fad, until the market fully takes hold of it there really is no reason to swap. If you didn't know a lot of the programs out there that say 64BIT technology basically means they added a file to trick a 64bit pc to run it a bit different. making it open 1/32 seconds faster.

jeeze i wish my hobbies cost 180 a month.....

bwahahahaha! this has to be a joke!

Lets see 32bit OS: only 3-4 GB max memory is available
64bit OS: 4+ GB memory available

Fad? I think not. But you're right about one point. there's not much sense to make HB 64bit at this point because all users can run 32bit WoW but not all can run 64bit.

Microsoft has stated that they'll stop providing x86 OS's sometime in the near future. So, x64 support should start happening more and more. However, there's no reason for us to support it unless Blizzard decides to drop x86 all together.

One thing to keep in mind, is that x64 does require more memory to run, than x86. So if you're using less than 3gb, you're better off with x86 anyway. Very, very few things require x64 memory address space to actually run. (WoW is not one of those things)

$4000? Not needed! I bet my $2000 system is equally as good as your minus the fact that u may have liquid cooling? Which isnt needed. Lol u can spend $1000 on a system that is capable of running any game on high graphics..

Well, my $4000 is needed and I can guarantee your $2000 system is not as equally as good as mine. Also, I invested this much for the future and I didn't say it was just for gaming. :-)

I agree with you 100%. I honestly believe that Blizzard is looking into the future so to speak and getting themselves ready for the drop of x86. Microsoft has pretty much deemed that to be the case as you have to run 32 bit applications in emulation now. Either way, I see your point and it would be pointless to support x64 right now if it's not needed.

Might as well do some extra updating here.

Lua stuff is fixed. (Artifact of the new memory lib was causing some issues, as well as some missing sanity checks that the old memory lib did, but the new one does not)

We're doing some reorganizing of a few maintenance related things (done within the next 5 or so minutes)

Just to put it to rest... HB will support DirectX 11 from here on. (I added support for it almost a week ago) We will not support the x64 client though. So you'll still need to run the 32bit WoW client.

We're testing everything we can before we do a release. I know of a few minor places that need to be fixed (and one major) before we do anything, but testing will show more broken areas.

Sorry for the delay folks, but even the other bots don't do nearly as much as we do.

TBH i have tried other bots and there was some pros and cons with all of them i did like some things that others had like a relogger and alarms ect.. but NOT A SINGLE one of them compaired to what honor buddy can do and how easy its set up. There profiles dont work 90% of the time and it looks super bottish and honestly will probably get you banned.. I beleive honorbuddy is the best bot on the market and the profiles that are wrote for honorbuddy are the best. I beleive the work these guys do and the time it takes them to do it is because they are trying to keep the community safe. Try other bots and u will see what im talking about.. Honorbuddy to me never looks bottish but every other bot out there does...

^This.

I did a fairly large commit earlier to Singular to make it compatible with the new API changes in the next release of HB.

Feel free to look through it and see what's changed! (Not much has actually changed, other than namespaces!)

Where can we check them out at? Noob here. Thanks!

Does this mean other CC's that currently are updated for the new Rotaions, such as (a good portion of) CLU will be fairly easy to update as well?

Try downloading from the .svn, you won't be able to run it without HB but you can scan through the new code. I believe bobby will have ShamWOW ready and wulf is finishing off CLU so we'll have some other CCs as well.

HB with DX11, nice for the lazyraiders. For bot farms, stick with DX9 and turn all settings to minimum.

Roll on Friday!

We do actually have an interesting scenario.

BOT is in the remake and after that the CC's needs overhauling.

The thing is that many contributors has been chased off with the new rules.

Let's see how many working cc's we actually have when the fat lady sings.

So I decided I decided to try out mmoCybot since the money appears to go to the same people that own honorbuddy & I was curious. Honorbuddy is well worth the wait. It is a much more developed and feature rich product.

The 'new rules' were mainly for people users who wanted to keep a project alive that was abandoned.

Everyone got butt-hurt because they were too proud.

The main thing that chases people off are little QQ'ing noobs who complain too much and don't give enough feedback, logs, etc
