Random crashes

If you've tried all that and the buddy wizard has the latest version number in its title bar, 1.3.0 i think. Then the next culprit i would investigate would be antivirus deleting a file.

Not sure what i did but i managed to fix the previous issue only to find myself in another. I'll upload the logs below I just don't understand what happened i was at work then i come back and now all of a sudden its causing ff14 to crash randomly (like the bot will run for 30m-1hr then it will crash the game client) I don't think its isolated to 1 issue but i really don't know.

Still confident that these crashes are related to an outside force. Since its effecting both 32 and 64 bit clients its unlikely its due to an offset changing, some users say its happening when the bot is idling without a profile running really sounds like antivirus or something else getting upset with the hook we use on the game. I ran 5 clients for 16 hours with no issues today using 3 different computers and none of them had issues at all.

I don't have any antivirus's running and this has happened when the bot was running (although the bot stops for a second right before it happens maybe 5 seconds then the game crashes) i reinstalled rebornbuddy and am currently using fatebot which hasn't crashed yet. Most of my crashes were using exbuddy gathering

Game crashed after about 3 hours using fatebot saying in jection was out of sync or something what would cause that?

I reinstalled Windows (barebones, no bloatware) and still get the problem. Rolled back drivers, you name it.

2 of my 3 computers exhibit this issue.

I find it very interesting that these always crash near simultaneously. I was speaking with Prez the other day and our clients crashed within 3 seconds of each other (My 2, his 1). Makes me think it is some timing issue or some internal check failing?

Yea i just went through and deleted all the programs that are supposedly troublesome to the bots (on some link i found on google) so we'll see where that gets us i just can't believe that i would be the only 1 having this sort of problem

GreyMagic errors are usually an issue with your local machine. chinajade replied here to a similar crash (albeit for HB, but it should still apply here):
Thanks for the reply

I followed all the instructions in that link (uninstalling programs antivirus ect) So we will see how it goes for now its been working for about 3 hours with no issues

Hi, Vladann93,

Your problem is most definitely an interfering program. Please follow the instructions/advice in the article Tony linked (read the article in full).

You should also check for the AntiVirus as a troublemaker:

If you continue to have problems after following all the corrective actions, please show us a fresh log.

cheers,
chinajade

View attachment 204254New log i just got bot crashes randomly sometimes now as well but game hasn't crashed yet

That seems unrelated to the issue at hand.

I've merged the threads as there is no point in having 3 active threads.

I've created a new beta build that has some extra logging included.

http://updates.buddyauths.com/GetNewest?filter=RebornbuddyBeta

If we are to narrow the cause of this crash down, when it crashes ill need the log file and the "Fault offset" associated with the crashed game client. It's very important that the fault offset match the log file being provided otherwise i will not be able to tell where in the games code it crashed.

Also, please refrain from using exbuddy or any other plugins, we must remove as many variables as possible.

Mastahg, through further testing... I removed ExBuddy and had Lisbeth running for 12+ hours, no issues.

I'll enable ExBuddy for the beta build and run that, see what comes up.

This is all well and good but did you read Mooncloud and I were chatting in Discord the other day and BOTH of our clients crashed AT THE SAME TIME. I'm sure we both don't have the exact same local machine set up the exact same way. The only thing I never asked Moodcloud was where he/she lives; I live in Massachusetts and my isp is Charter.

My clients have been running for most of the day using Gather Manager until the ExBuddy fiasco I had about half an hour ago with it changed the folder directory on it's own! I had a couple of crashes but neither account has crashed yet. I think the next time it crashes I'll quickly post here and hopefully get Mooncloud to do the same if his/hers crashed too.

Crash #1 - Beta Log file: View attachment 204267

Without the associated crash information from windows, the logs are worthless.
I also clearly asked for no third party sofware to be installed.

Strange that the offset is 0, that one isnt of any use sadly.

One thing I want to be sure to note is that rebornbuddyx64 has no crashing issues. Unfortunately it is throwing various errors that prevent it from being an alternative.

I am going to run the beta and see if I can get a more realistic fault offset over the next hour or so.
