Additional Information

• This profile can kill Yogg-Saron in heroic difficulty without any assistance from the Keepers

• These profiles are restricted to characters on level 100
• Ulduar is not trivial to bot. Bosses like the Flame Leviathan and Mimiron are good gear checks.
  If your character can't beat them, you can't clear the dungeon on that difficulty. Try another spec or simply get better gear.
• Some classes will have more trouble than others. Selfheals for example can be an important factor on some fights
  (Mages for example just have a tough time when soloing challenging raids).

Tips

• Use the QuestBot, because ... well these profiles need it.
• Have enough free bag space. There is a lot of loot waiting for you.
• My products are developed using the standard Singular Combat Routine. Using other combat routines might cause issues.

FAQ

My character is being squeezed by a Constrictor Tentacle and I can't get off. What's up with that?

I wish I could tell you something else, but the Yogg-Saron encounter does have a bug that has been around for at least a year according to my research. It sometimes happens that the Constrictor Tentacle that is holding you just bugs out. This leads to you not being able to kill it. Even summoned pets like druid treants won't work, because they can't attack the tentacle. I really tried to find a cause I could work around but at this time it is just something that happens.

The problem with this is the wait time. You need to wait for Yogg-Saron to enrage and summon a huge number of tentacles that slowly kill you until you are finally dead and the death behavior of the profile returns you to the raid and tries again. This is not a profile issue. It can happen just the same when you play the encounter manually.

I keep becoming insane on Yogg-Saron 10-man while Yogg-Saron 25-man works. Why is that?

This is again a Blizzard thing. They changed the 25-Man encounter a bit to make it soloable for all those mount farmers. In Phase 2 Sara frequently casts a spell called Psychosis on you. On 10-man raid size this spell reduces your sanity by 9% each time you get hit by it. On 25-man that sanity loss has been deactivated. I can't tell you why, but that is just the way that it is.

Sometimes my character takes too long in the Mind's Eye and can't get out in time which leads to an instant kill. What can I do?

You can't really do something about it. This just happens to sometimes. The issue is that in the Mind's Eye you will still get hit by debuffs from the tentacles outside. Suffering from both "Black Plague" and "Apathy" reduces your mobility a lot. And in some rooms you have to move quite a distance from illusion to illusion in order to make your way to the Brain of Yogg-Saron. With a bit of bad luck you are just too slow to even get out. I implemented a bit of extra help by forcing a rogue to use Cloak of Shadows for example. But if you have no skill to get rid of those debuffs, there is nothing that can be done.

Why did I die after or during the Assembly of Iron encounter?

If you don't have the DPS to kill all three guys fast enough, the Overwhelming Power debuff will be applied to your character. It increases your DPS, but it kills you when it runs out and you can not avoid it.

Mimiron phase 4 takes forever on my rogue. Please explain.

On phase 4 you need to kill all 3 parts of the robot within short succession of each other or they will repair and heal. The problem for rogues ist that they can't reach that high and alternative ranged skills are either dependent on specific talents or you would have to fall back on "Throw" which has a minimum range of 5 yards. But when you try to get away from the boss to use throw, more often than not he follows and you are again too close to the boss. I found out that if you were standing directly below the boss you could use Crimson Tempest which is available to all rogue specs and it would hit the Aerial Command Unit. This way I could slowly work away the health of the flying head and make this reliable, albeit a bit lengthy tactic.

What's the deal with Ulduar "hard modes" and which ones does the profile do?

Ulduar hard modes were a Blizzard experiment where you didn't flip a switch to set a boss fight to heroic, but you had to meet certain conditions or do something differently to get a bigger reward and often an additional achievement. Below you will find an overview of all boss hard modes and if the bot handles it. Please remember that this is the current state of the profile and I might improve upon it over time. My primary goal was to get a working Ulduar profile out there which is capable of farming the Mimiron's head mount.

You also need to defeat Hodir, Freya, Mimiron and Thorim in hard mode to complete a part of the old Algalon prequest.

Flame Leviathan
Hard mode status: Currently inactive
Hardmode is activated by speaking to the Lore Keeper of Norgannon first and select his gossip option, then speak to Brann. You can leave one to four large colored towers up to have Flame Leviathan's HP, damage, and abilities scale. Four towers up is the hardest mode.

Ignis the Furnace Master
Ignis has no hard mode.

Razorscale
Razorscale has no hard mode.

XT-002 Deconstructor
Hard mode status: Always active
When his heart becomes exposed, destroy it. This is a DPS race. When the heart is destroyed, XT-002 gains 50% more HP and does 30% more damage. Destroying the heart also heals him to 100%.

Iron Council
Hard mode status: Always active
This encounter scales depending on what order you kill the NPCs. The NPCs will gain new abilities and do more damage depending on who's left up with them. Leaving the dwarf up last is considered the easiest, followed by the vrykul for medium mode, and the giant being the last add is considered the hardest.

Kologarn
Kologarn has no hard mode.

Auriaya
Auriaya has no hard mode.

Hodir
Hard mode status: Always active
Hodir's hard mode is simply a DPS race. Kill him before three minutes are up to get the extra reward.

Thorim
Hard mode status: Always active
Battling through the Arena and engaging Thorim within 3 minutes causes Sif not to despawn and assist Thorim in the fight. Sif cannot be targeted and will damage the player.

Freya
Hard mode status: Activated through a raid option in the Studio Companion plugin
Just like Sartharion you have to leave her Keepers (up to three) alive during the fight. She gains new abilities for each Keeper.

Mimiron
Hard mode status: Activated through a raid option in the Studio Companion plugin
Pushing the Big Red Button behind Mimiron starts the hard mode version of the boss fight. It comes with increased damage and abilities.

General Vezax
Hard mode status: Currently inactive
If you don't use the Saronite Vapors to regain mana and wait for 8 Saronite Shards to drop, the Saronite Animus will spawn. Kill it first and then kill General Vezax to complete the hard mode.

Yogg-Saron
Hard mode status: Always active
Hodir, Thorim, Freya, Mimiron are able to assist players in the Yogg-Saron fight if you talk to them before engaging Yogg-Saron itself. Not using them to assist you is the hard mode and a requirement to unlock the chance for the drop of Mimiron's Head.

Algalon
Algalon has no hard mode.

But yeah there is a but! the fight with yogg can be improve i guess (or not i don't know anything about raid profile)
To describe my fight :
- P1 : works fine
- P2 : this stun is annoying as hell remove fucking it blizzard !
- P2 still : some frame issues maybe?
- P2 again : constrictor tentacle seems to not work everytime even if it can be kill
- P2 third time : i don't know how it works again but too much time before engaging when you come in room which lead to a loss of 30% sanity (which cause insanity after 3 time going in)
- P2 fourth : probably a routine issues (singular) but the bot take too much time killing the mob in the mind eyes
- P3 fine

I don't know how it works but for the most part it is a Win for this profile.
You also did a very nice setup/interface who is easy to take in hands.

If u need more class/routine/other testing i can provide them for the improvement of the run!

What do you mean "not work"? It works very well with Singular, but it takes a long time.

EDIT: I have plans to let the plugin change talents of the character if necessary.Once that happens I will change the tactic so the rogue specs into Shuriken Toss and kills the boss that way.

P2-1: Tell me about it - Try to develop that way. I ran the encounter hundreds of times.

P2-2: The frame issues I never noticed. I'll look into it. There are a few behaviors running in parallel, but nothing that should be noticable. And about the Constrictor Tentacles - After I got the profile into a solid state, I never found an occurance where I could kill the Constrictor Tentacle and the bot didn't. Only time I got stuck, was when it completely bugged out. If you find a scenario where the bot couldn't get you out, but you could, then please provide me with a log and information about how you did it.

P2-3: I agree. I will look into it. Disabling + enabling a CR always takes a moment (which I need to do so the bot uses the portal right away), but maybe I can optimize other wait timers a bit.

P2-4: That is indeed a routine issue. I might need to create overrides to cast instant spells down there. That could help a bit, but is also something to be done on a class-by-class and spell-by-spell basis. Maybe I can add a general solution as a combat hook into my plugin to reuse it in other cases like this. Give me a bit to play with the thought.

P2,4 i don't know how it works if u use some class specification or if it is the routine who did the most part but the bot is playing like a retard almost no aoe making the pet damage when the toon is wtching etc ! singular is maybe not suited for this kind of run

Your description is very thorough, but I am still missing an unabdridged log to look at things myself.

Mimiron i know melee have bad time against him but for the P4 maybe there is some trouble with the head because in P3 he killed the head only then she was up even if he bring her down properlly

The routine i use is primarly singular which doesn't seems good what are you using?

My profiles are designed to work with Singular. We achieved more than 100 kills alone during development with Singular as combat routine with varying classes and specs. I don't support the use of different routines as they might be good dps-wise, but are lackluster featurewise. This profile has also been part of the bundle for a few days with many reports of it running very succesfully. I also have to ask you to provide a log one last time ([Guide] How to attach your log). If you can't provide a log I will have to ask the moderators to delete your posts. Without a log you are making it impossible for me to help you and then I would rather work on issues that are solvable or on new products.

And just to give you a bit of background information: I do all my initial raid designs with a rogue, because I can then reset most encounters to try different approaches without wasting raid lockouts. So melees should in most cases work better than ranged characters.

I have to disable the combat routine so the bot will enter the portal. The delay is primarily from Honorbuddy. But I guess we have pinpointed your problem and I will take a look at it. I don't need more reports on that.

P2,2 for the constrictor i'm pretty sure that the first one of all run isn't kill when it can be (as said earlier i ill watch mroe closely on my 4th fight and i will describe it properly)

I don't understand that sentence, but if you ever get stuck on the tentacle, stop (or pause) the bot and can get unstuck: Let men know how you did it. I tried for two weeks and haven't found a way.

The boss encounter took 90 minutes? That is impossible.
