[PAID] Raid Studio: Cataclysm Bundle

This routine is great! Quick question though: Would it be possible for the routine to check item level of the character and if it's 680 or higher just faceroll Lich King instead of messing with the adds or anything? Would make his fight much faster. I think any class can just tunnel him at that ilvl. Thanks.

Hi! Just bought the bundle and tinkering with it. Got a few Q tho.

As I understand some classes gets a hard time trying to do some of these bosses on heroic. I tried it with my Ilvl 670 prot pala and he got almost all the bosses. ( Diddent get enought DPS on the boss where Nefarian is ) But I have problems with my warrior, rogue, even balance druid and they are all Ilvl 700+.

Would love to get some help and point me in the right direction here. Like can i tinker with the CR or something? Anything would help

Edit: example is that " Blackout " Theralion and Valiona keeps killing me.

I could probably add this as an option in a future version. I have opened up a task for it and will add this once Pet Battle Studio is released. I put this on my task list for the raid profile overhaul I will be doing at that time.

Did you check out the FAQ for those classes? Rogues for example should use "Shuriken Toss" and if Blackout is a problem, you could try having Shield Generators in your inventory.

Open Studio Companion and select the raid you want to run. Many of the more complicated raids have an FAQ section in the left navigation (where you can also find the item options).

Something is wrong with your Honorbuddy installation and/or your attachment to the wow client. I see issues with the combat routine not initializing and problems of HB reading from the game memory.

This has nothing to do with my profiles, but please try the following steps:

1. Guide: How to clear your Cache
2. Guide: How to perform a clean Installation
3. Restart your computer (to remove any HB ghost processes).

All exceptions I see are related to Honorbuddy. I don't see anything in the stacktrace caused by Studio Companion. I have to ask you to contact the Honorbuddy support. Sorry. I wish I could tell you something different, but this is beyond anything that I could fix. I am sure Tony or someone else from the Honorbuddy staff is much better suited to help you with this issue.

So after alot of testing Ive found out that only my Prot pala ( ilvl 670 ) and Sub Rogue ( Ilvl 700 ) is capable of soloing the 25 man Cata HC's.

Blood DK Ilvl 670: dies at Nefarian
All specs Lock Ilvl 700 : Dies at Nefarian
Frost Mage Ilvl 700: Dies at Baleroc
Tank and DPS Monk Ilvl 670 : Dies at Beth'Tilac ( Cant kill it before it goes down and auto stun after that )

Im new to these profiles so still trying to figure them out kinda. But by the looks of it I can only run most of my toons on 25 man normal and because of that lose all the sweet gold drops from Heroic

Thats why Im asking you guys for helps or tips. What do you guys do ? Specs, glyphs tactics?

Ive been looking at the FAQ in the plugin and done whatever it has told me to do.

I get this " [DoWhen-v2082(debug)] Executing Death Hook ". This is happening to several of toons. I think its only when fighting bosses. The bug pops up in HB and the toon keeps running back and forth til it dies.

Here's a log my DK running thru Blackwing Decent and keeps dying at Nefarian because of this bug.

The death behavior announcement has nothing to do with the issue. It does not mean the death behavior is running, but simply announces a check for "Should I run it? Am I dead?" where the answer is "No" most of the time. I do however see an exception in one of the behaviors, so I will have to look into that.

I activated the trial yesterday and tried two of my toons so far.

Here are my tests (all with singular CR):
dk ilvl 670 unholy
All raids done in 2:45 hours earning 6500g with two problems :
Sinestra keeps resetting , my toon is not killing the eggs, had to avoid the fight sadly
In the Ragnaros fight my toon is not going into melee range to start the fight, i had to manually "help" him

bm hunter ilvl 677 with leech trinket
Did everything except Firelands in 1:45 hours and 5000g earned.
No problems with Sinestra (for this i'm starting to think that is a melee problem)
We will see with Ragnaros

So far i'm clearly impressed, really good job! I'm planning to buy this when those problems will be fixed

Thank you for your feedback. I will soon start a complete overhaul of all my Raid Studio products and fixing the last remaining issues is part of that process. I will also add a statistics tool to the product that tracks which characters complete those raids and how much gold they earn while doing it. That will give users a better picture of what the profiles are capable of.

edit: Giving it some thought I truely believe its got to do with the death behavior as you implemented. This is whats keeps happening especially at Nefarian but at some other bosses aswell.

The toon kills Onixya and when Nefarian starts he stops up right infront of nefarian, ignores rotations from CR and starts auto attack for a bit then this Debug " Executing death hooks " / " Stop death hooks " spams my HB and the toon keeps running back and forth til it dies.

So far i tested these 3 toons :

dk ilvl 670 unholy
sinestra resetting not killing eggs
ragnaros is not going into melee range
perfect except these 2 bugs


bm hunter ilvl 677 leech trinket
Al-Akir : hunter is trying to cast kill command forever without the pet in the end phase. Had to help him.
Getting stuck in the roof of the Cleft of Shadow while travelling from garrison to Fireland, going back and forth like a bot forever. Really bad bad issue
Beth'tilac : big problem here. The profile is not taking the rope to go up.I waited the third time to see him taking the rope.
no problem with ragnaros


feral druid ilvl 661
Chimaeron not enough dps with singular (i just manually popped an incarnation king of jungle in the beginning of the fight and he goes down in seconds...)
Shannox not doable with incarnation king of the jungle talent but did without problems with force of nature (like stated in the faq)
Beth'tilac same problem as the hunter
Alysrazor : another big problem, the druid is not attacking mobs after the first descent on the floor. Had to manually help him.And even worst the druid is only autoattacking while flying (of course not enough dps). Had to manually help him another time.Really really bad.
Ragnaros : same problem as the dk, not moving into melee range to start the fight.
Worst class tried so far for these raids and singular is really the worst CR ever made for dps as feral ahah


Final and honest judgement : The profiles are awesome and the plugin too but you really need to fix those bugs which are big imho.In the current state we are sadly far away to being 100% afk (except maybe for the dk).
I will not buy for now until i see some fixes (and maybe your CRs, singular is BAD). If you wanna me to test something just pm here or on discord

I have enough beta testers for now. It is all a matter of time management. I have been working 100 hours a week on Honorbuddy products for two months now. I take every issue seriously, but I do feel your judgement is a bit harsh. Considering the number of people that run these raids every week without those issues, it is safe to assume that many things are a matter of configuration. The "combat start" issues stem from changes to HB that I need to counter. But regarding your feral situation I can say this: I developed all Cataclysm raids with a rogue and a feral druid with Singular and then ran all other classes once those two worked well. My feral druid is sitting at around item level 685 with a 705 weapon and Lunar Inspiration specced and for me it runs really well.

I'll give you this though: Most issues are Singular problems, but there is no easy fix. Almost all other routines don't honor combat behavior flags that are required for those encounters. And when I asked people like TuanHa for free versions of their products to at least try and get them compatible, he told me to buy them on the store. Plus developing a CR right now is a really, really stupid idea. We got the Legion release date set at August 30th. That means 7.0 will hit end of July. If I were to start developing 11 combat routines for all those specs, I could start again once 7.0 hits, because they do change so much. That would be hundreds of wasted hours. I want to prepare CRs for Legion, but don't expect a release before 7.0.

So for now, we are stuck with Singular. A combat routine that does not know how to target Beth'tilac, Ragnaros, Magmaw, the drakes in the Ultraxxion gauntlet, Al'Akir, Nefarian, Onyxia correctly. I hate that. But it is not my fault. The drawback is a higher gear requirement, but if you just put up a war mill in your garrison and run the free Tanaan profiles you are up to 685 in no time.

If you choose not to buy them, that is okay. You will probably be in awe when you see the next overhaul that is coming and I'd rather have a customer less than someone who buys and then refunds.
