[PAID] Raid Studio: Cataclysm Bundle

I just purchased the CATA raid bundle and the program stops after each raid finishes and just hearths and stands in my garrison?? Whats the deal?

It is okay for the bot to hearth to the garrison after a raid is done. That is the intended behavior. However there is currently an issue with the bot not continuing between raids. This bug has been introduced yesterday through an update and the fix is already pending and waiting for approval. I have asked the Honorbuddy staff to do a prioritized approval to get the new version onto the store. I am sorry for any inconvenience this causes. Once the new version has been approved I will post an update to this thread and the Studio Companion thread. Then all you have to do is restart Honorbuddy once so it can download the new version of the plugin.

Hi Studio60 !!

Having a problem just before sinestra fight,

Characters often get stuck right after exiting the lava, circling around for infinite time !!

I have to manually stop and restart the profile, but it's quite annoying!!!

Otherwise great plug-in, i'll report any other hiccup !

BTW i have a few suggestions/questions:

1/ I use HBrelog to farm cata raids on multiple characters, is it possible to include a HBrelog command at the end of the profile to advance to the next task in HBrelog scheduler ?

2/ In case of stuck/death/bug, it would be a great failsafe to include a max time for each raid (adjustable) , so it would automatically skip to the next (when out of combat / after grabbing corpse / looting / etc...)

Hey there. I recently got a bug report from Serpentshrine Cavern where the log did show the same behavior. It seems to happen with click-to-move navigation (necessary when swimming for example) and it somehow leads to the bot starting its anti-stuck routine and then being stuck in the anti-stuck. :-P I have asked the HB developers if there have been changes to that part of the bot and I am now waiting for a response.

HBRelog however should work fine. There was a bug with it when using the Studio Planner where HBRelog was not activated after the run, but I fixed that about a week ago. The "attempt counter" is something I will implement. I already have it on my list and I have actually just today been implementing something like it into Travel Studio to make movement to the raids more reliable. It just needs some time as I have so many projects on my hand.
 
Quick question,

When using singular, i usually let default targeting and movement options (i think it's on AUTO).

If i want to use another routine, should i disable or enable targeting and movement ??

You should not use another combat routine with my products. Almost none of them support all features that are required with my profiles (this goes especially for raids that require a lot of special logic).
You can try, but I don't take any responsibility if something stops working and as I don't use other routines with my products I can not give advice on what settings to use with them.

If you use other routines and something does not work while it works with singular I would just expect the CR developer to fix these issues. They could even ask me for helps in fixing their stuff, but the burden to actually do it is theirs.
 
Quick question: would there be a way to add a per-boss difficulty setting in Studio Companion? That would be great for classes who can't handle certain bosses on 25H, but can on 25-normal. A few examples of relatively difficult bosses for certain classes would be Shannox 25H and Ultraxion 25H.

Basically, the idea is that when the bot is on its way to said boss, it switches the difficulty to whatever's been set for that boss, kills it, and then switches the difficulty back to its original setting. This would maximize gold and loot in accordance to the toon's competence with Singular. Of course, the player would have to go through trial-and-error to figure out what a given toon can handle, but being able to granularly set this up would be great.

I've done that manually for my rogue who couldn't kill Ultraxion on 25H because of Singular's poor rotation. He was able to kill Ultraxion on 25-normal, and I was able to switch the difficulty back to 25H afterwards.

Though the idea is valid, I feel it would result in a lot of confusion for players. It might lead to a situation for example where the bot stands in front of Ragnaros HC with him not being there (thus not being eligible for the mount), because one of the bosses before had been killed in normal mode. Same would go for ICC with the Lich King. Also, if players were to stop the raid and continue at a later time during that lockout period, there would be no way to determine which boss had been killed on which difficulty (there is no ingame data for it). I would be more interested in replacing Singular with my own combat routines, which I will do in due time. The problem with rolling my own CRs is just that Legion introduces so many changes, I would have to write the whole CR basically twice and the WoD version would only be useful for a few more months until it became obsolete. I just don't have the time to do that right now.

Maybe I can bake that into the boss selection option I am planning to implement.

Awesome profiles! Just a nooby question:
Is there a way to tell the bot to vendor off the lock boxes after running trash farming in Firelands? I enabled the bot to sell all items dropped from the mobs, but for some reason it does not sell the lock boxes and it makes it difficult to do 100% AFK farming. I'm able to sell the items on my own when my bags get full, but it'd be easier to have the bot vendor them off automatically. I'm not sure if this is already implemented into the profile.

Please try and check the settings menu once more. Each expansion also has a "World Drops" menu where things like lockboxes and gems should be available for configuration. I grabbed the items from wowhead through a script I wrote, so there is a possibility of something missing. If you find an item that is not configurable, then please let me know and I see what I can do.

Also: Thanks for the compliment. I still have a lot of improvements in mind for the time after my next big product has been released. :-)

1. Is this going to work pretty much afkable as of 12.03.2016?
2. Will BG (700 ilvl) Gear suffice for:
Priest/Warrior/Mage/Shaman/Paladin/Hunter/Rogue ?

Hello there!

I am on a seminar this weekend, so I can only give you a short answer:

- For the most part it is afkable. But I do advise to watch it once with every character to make sure.
- Your gear should be good enough, but for some classes it is advisable to get the Leech-Trinket from Kazzak, because the selfheal multiplies heavily in legacy raids
- I do recommend to check out die FAQ in Studio Companion. Rogues should for example specc into Shuriken Toss, Leeching Poison and Shadow Reflection.
- Sinestra (BoT) seems to have caused issues in the past. I have not yet received reports after the latest update, but if it still causes problems, you can disable the boss in the options
 
Studio, you can clear any content on normal 25, then swap to heroic to kill the last boss.

i do it weekly on ICC and Ulduar to make clearing faster :P
