R-Rift - rrrix's BETA Rifts

Please help!

So when I run this profile with trinity plug enabled. it teleports to the rift and just keeps teleporting back to town and not doing anything. when i disable trinity in plugins, it works but it wont repair items and it just wasted rift keys. thanks..


EDIT:

Downloaded the fix file, seems to be working for now. I'll report later if needed.

Hi, pls how to force bot to spend BS, if he has 400+ BS ?

I found a work around for people having the issue where he just enters the rift then teleports back out and sits in town. what i got to work is i goto plugins and disable trinity then start the bot. then i stop the bot then re-enable trinity. then when i start the bot again it seems to work. so this is what i do and it seems to work now.
 
Hello =)

I have trouble to use this profile.
When i use it, it did the first run but after killing the boss, it didn't know how to re-enter in the rift.

And I agree with you re something out of date. 9/10 of all the complaints and issues will be solved if people only read and update. In this case the culprit is more than likely because they did not update to MS VS C++ 2013. I think Tony can automate 99% of support issues with a bot typing in response:

"remove:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable
- microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable


restart your pc,

run them as administrator.
after wizard installation is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++

This ain't my first rodeo son. I did done all those things. The bottom line is after you run your first normal rift you are going to get the "entering the rift..." bug where he just stands in town. With that said, I appreciate all the time you take out of your day to figure out this catastrophe.

Hahaha...well, it might not be your first rodeo my dear, but I am old enough to be your grandma - trust me! :P
Yeah, we have tried a couple of workarounds for this issue, and some work for some people. Most success seems to be from the "r-rifttest" (being old and senile I forgot the exact name hahaha) file I posted a couple of messages up. It is a silly change that seemed to help a tad, and I renamed it from the orginal (r-rift) for obvious reasons :)
You can also edit a line in Questtools's QTOpenRiftWrapper that will fix it, but I would much rather let the bright spark kiwi that is around here do a permanent fix instead of putting a band-aid on.
In the meantime, you can look for the "fixed" r-rifttest.xml and it will get you going for now. Hopefully!
 
here is my edited version of rrix's. It fixed my normal rift problem. I didn't try trial and greater rifts

I think everything else will work since the issue was only when trying to run normal rifts. Thx for sharing :)

may i suggest closing and removing the old post of the "R-Rift - rrrix's BETA Rifts" once all this is working as intended and create a fully
new "stickied" post of the updated working file/files?

so in the future, newcomers to db looking for this routine gets to grab the proper version ?

=)

Great idea, but do we have a file that is working for everyone iow which file can we designate as the proper version? :-)
I tried abckid's and it did not work for me because it actually restarted the game after each session, and not just the profile. But maybe it works well for someone else.

besides, is it not fun to read the same story over and over again?

I actually made it to remake the game each time after completes the run...Is that the problem ur having? cuz I can change if u prefer to stay in the same room

click plugins > questool > config > in next window, click "General Options" on top

make sure

[*] Allow profile restart
[*] Allow profile reloading

are checked !

if it still dosnt work, well.... i tried ^^
 
Can someone please help me. He opens the rift. Goes in then he tps right back out and stays in town doing nothing. The only way i can fix this is if i disable trinity but then it doesn't repair or clear out bags.....

Yes there is something els you can do when a program becomes too problematic.
Simply delete your entire db install folder. reboot. re-download a fresh one from main site.

OMG im an idiot. I had an outdated version of trinity lol...... yes that was dumb of me hah. all is well right now.
