R-Rift - rrrix's BETA Rifts

about 1 in 5 (over a sample of maybe 30 rifts) it gets to the return portal stone without having killed enough creatures to summon the guardian, then gold timeout :*

every couple rifts it leaves the game without completing the rift.

"Leaving game, reason: Run is done"

sometimes this happens quarter through the rift or when it is almost done. i think it is totally random.

any solutions? i have latest plugins
 
Garbage, I had 500 rift keys and 9/10 times it would only do 20-40% of the rift then portal home and restart, used ALL of the keys in less then a few hours, I have all the current updates for everything so i know its not that,

forced to do bounty's till this crap is fixed..........
 
hey man i ran for 8 hours its completly afkable apart from the fact it doesnt complete rifts no guardian
 
Aside from the problems stated previously (not killing enough enemies to spawn the guardian before the rift is complete), I'm noticing a lot of useless wandering around and re-checking explored areas over and over. I'm guessing this is the fault of trinity explore, but is there any way to lessen this?
 
That is just terrible. I'm so sorry to hear that. If only there was another bot for rifts that is constantly updated and working.

I exclusively run R-Rift, and, I personally don't have half the problems these people have, and your profile has just as many complainers :)

I meant no offense to you rrrix. R-Rift works pretty good for me as well. It was just the way he expressed himself in that post. Like there is no alternative out there and It's your fault he is "forced" to do bounties. :-)
 
For me the rift is completed most of the time. Some places where the bot struggles, are the bridges that you have to activate to make them go down. The bot never activates them when I've witnessed it.

Do you have an trinity options that you've changed for this profile, RRIX?

Okay I've been watching the bot for the last 10 minutes.
It's come to two bridges in that time.
When there are enemies on the other side, it won't activate the bridge.
But when there are no enemies, it activates the bridge.

profile work great! how do i change the max deaths to more than 3?

If you die more than 3 times lower the difficulty.

That being said this profile works better than the other profile, the other one worked quite well for a while, after this last update it had it barely was able to complete rifts if it did, this one just keeps going! Thanks RIX!

The "other" profile is updated with latest DB/Trinity/QT in mind now. :)

So are all my other files, but why not run the profile made by the creator of trinity? That way if there's an issue there's no back to back communication, you just need one man to do the job, don't get me wrong your guy had his time in the spot light for the rifts, but I think rrrix might have it covered from here on out.

They both have their pros and cons.

Rrrix for whatever reason my threshold is 75 on my kadala spree, bot would continue to run to town once threshold is met and keep portaling back into the rift, didn't do this with the other profile? :3 Is it profile related?

Not sure if the act matters, is kadala for this plugin only meant to do act 4 kadala? Because your profile runs rifts on act 5?

For each their own. We provided a Rift profile when there was none that worked very well. It's only recently R-Rift have started coming together. rrrix can change Trinity and Quest Tools to work better with R-Rift. We had to work around it for the last 6 weeks and things kept breaking when new releases of DB/Trinity/QT came out. We also provide choices of what you want the bot to do after killing the guardian.

I'm not dissing rrrix at all. R-Rift is working really well now and I applaud him for it. At least show some appreciation to RiftBot and what It has given people for the last month and a half.

Saying one profile is better than the other is biased. R-Rift might work better for some people than RiftBot and the other way around. If it works better for you, then that's great, just don't blatantly go around saying one is better than the other.

Having more profiles that does the same thing is a good thing. Choice is king.

Apologies, I didn't mean to be biased, I did edit my post, you're completely correct on everything you said. I don't want to start a fight online haha so I'm going to step down from this conversation. :]
 
Is there a way to set up the bot to not make a new game after the rift is completed and let it wait for the timer/portal to reset?
