the price of gold dropped because too many kids wrote topics with imaginary cash they made; loads of kids read the topics and started to sell gold

no lol, this is an inside joke from when i use to play alliance... i made my first char, got into a guild, got into there vent, and what do you think happens next.... I hear think kid.. talked to him, hes 8!!!!!!! and he kept saying words like "frick" "poop" darnit" and i just said "fucking piece of shit" and left. made horde, been that way ever since XD (moar to the story, i shortended by about.... 4 hours lol)

The stereotypical view of the horde being older and the alliance being kids is far from true.
Especially since the faction change feature.

So stating this im afraid makes you look a bit silly.. especially in the botting community, where faction is totally irrelevant, it's where the best income is that counts.
Not being nasty but you may want to put some thought into your posts next time and consider how it makes others think of you when reading it.

But back on topic, the gold prices will surge when cata comes out no doubt, as most of you predict.
The "hardcore" botters will survive, and the new guys looking for easy cash that have put no research into it will give up.
Should balance out in the end.

like friends and private buyers, they can pull it off, but some websites are just making you get banned by mailing and putting things on ah for ridiculous amounts, thats what blizz watches for.

I've been selling to Private buyers ever since Glider.
I started selling to them at $40 per 1k, when companies where selling for $70+?
from $40 I went down to $25 for the longest... this was when Glider was Shutdown.
$25 went to $20 to $10 to $5.

One thing I must say tho, the way you guys feel about the new gold sellers is the same way I feel about every GB user.
When GB was private I was making a killing. The only real comp I had were the china farmers. Since GB went public and became very popular... there's at least 5 GB users in each realm that I play in. Making the price of herbs/ore worthless.

If you really want to make it as a gold seller then you must do it with private buyers. You'll get more for every 1,000 Gold but the best part is your accounts will last longer since I have NEVER been banned for gold selling to my private buyers.
I made $25,000 last year from gold sells.
