Today i bought honorbuddy and tried setting it up.

i put wow in windows mode 32-bit

log in to my character which is a lvl 44 warlock in felwood.

i load the kick profile and click start then the bot trys to run to the orc starting place.
after i search the forums i found out i need to change IgnoreCheckpoints="False" to "True"
which i did but nothing changed.
also my bot always says "loading tile/s"

i try to submit the log later on.

greetings neotrom

You misunderstood the function.

Ignorecheckpoints=true means, he starts the profile from the very beginning.
Set it to false and post a log.

You can delete the wow and hb cache. A HowTo is found in the Guide section.

The very beginning of the profile? Or the very beginning of level 1? All the way to your current level? Can you be a little more specific, because I have a similar problem... my toon doesn't delete previous quests... he just keeps a shit ton of them in the quest log.

Neotrom, As Buzzerbeater was saying you should change that back to false or what I'm about to explain will occur.

All of those questions have Yes and No answers.

A profile with enabled checkpoints basically is analogous to that of a Coin Sorter/Counter in respect it will "jump" to a checkpoint for your level (coin and it's slot size). When they're disabled a profile is read in a linear fashion as well as using WoW's cache to determine if you've already done quests. If you manually quested, used a different profile, or etc that went against the profile's QuestOrder the bot will go and pick up the random quests you may not have completed that may not be appropriate for you level. Like for example a starting zone quest you skipped. Checkpoints help these inconsistencies, and players who level with heirlooms, by skipping all of the quests before the checkpoint. Only at checkpoints (which are around the beginning of zones) is where profile writers will typically wipe the quest log. Usually wrapped into the very first quest that you can pick up in that zone.

Neotrom: I'm guessing since you just got the bot the level 44 character of yours may do some backtracking before it's able to reach a new checkpoint, and will start to function normally again. I don't know if you're Horde or Alliance. If you're Horde stop the bot once you hit level 45, and start it again, it will then clear your quest log and go to Felwood. If you're Alliance similar will happen, but it will take you to the Badlands I believe.

Also, Loading Tiles is a normal function of Honorbuddy that just means it's downloading the meshes that allow it to properly navigate in WoW.

So all in all... it's better to leave it false... and just remove the quests themselves by abandoning them once I've reached a certain "checkpoint".

The bot does it for you at the checkpoints, eventually. If you know of quests that are from an old zone you can remove them at any point.

if you need help make your OWN threads. you guys hijacked the thread from the OP, anyone who is not the OP, or helping will have posts deleted beyond this point.
