Questions about Heal Monks

I purchased a second account, eventually I'd like a full party. I have a few questions/issues with it though:

I leveled and (somewhat poorly) geared a Monk. Using this build: http://www.diablofans.com/builds/58010-datmodz-140b-xp-hour-healer-monk

However the Monk doesn't use most skills, I've never seen them actively use Mantra of Healing and it only sometimes casts Cyclone Strike. Any idea what I might be doing wrong? Could someone who runs a Heal/XP mule share their settings?

Don't have any issues with HoTA Barb/WD.

My plan is to use either 3 HoTA+Heal/XP Monk or 2 HoTA+2 Heal/XP Monk, whichever is more efficient. Found WD really effective though. What combination do any of you think would be optimal?

Also more out of curiosity what's the "Trinity 3" I've seen mentioned?

Have you checked the trinity settings? Do you have enough energy to use the abilities? Trinity has safety options so below a certain amount of energy it doesnt spam abilities anymore to safe it for emergency situations.
If yes I guess this build is not supported by trinity for now, you should post a link to the build in the plugins/trinity forum with a list of suggestions what should be improved.

There's nothing I can see in Trinity about it, having no Issues with my WD/Barb. I have plenty of energy, can spam mantra of healing every few seconds if need be.
