questions about bans

1 - do you have to be botting at the time the wave hits, or can u be logged off and still banned for previous activity?

2 - if youre banned, does it affect other games you have tied to that bliz account?

1 - you can be banned for previous activity even if you're offline at the time of the ban wave.
2 - it doesn't affect other games, but your account may be flagged so I wouldn't start botting WoW right away.

thx for reply. did anyones main acct actually get hit? from browsing it appears that bnet is leaving ppl's mains alone while getting the secondaries. true?

Is not being able to access the AH a symptom of an imminent ban, or is this unrelated? haven't been able to access it since this morning, but others seem fine.

don't think so. I think AH was just down for a short period. Had that earlier today too.
