I am getting into it and im making around 5 bucks a day selling gold so 150 a month not alot but its ok. How much is everyone else making? and can i get any tips?

I don't see it as work, and it can be risky find yourself a mass buyer and sell them 50k+ a week ask them for regular increased percentage and stick with them.

So far ive mad $60 doing it which is nothing for how long ive been doing it but my income in the game is getting better still not at lvl 90 so still not great but getting better and the comp i wanna buy is $1700 which would allow me to run my 4 accounts (only been using one right now) all day (broken apart and prolly each only on 12 hours a day.) What does everyone think? do you think i will make my money back and maybe turn a little profit? i dont intend on getting rich i just wanna make a little extra and i find it fun doing so.

There are some, but selling small amounts of gold wouldn't give you that much profit, 1 million gold, yes, probably it would give you 700$, if it's at 0.70$ 1k, other then that, it's not worth to sell.

Just my opinion here, but if you spend $1700 on a cpu so that you can bot/sell gold, then you setting yourself up for failure. This is a bad investment imho. You would do much better to spend that money on 6 computers, all which can run 5 accounts/bots. This way you can make 800 k - 1 mil/g per day.

Do a little market research on the servers you want to bot, gauge competition, & look at your ROI to plot a secure path for gold selling.

Exactly, so if you were running 30 accounts that would be 900 k today. At $0.7 / 1,000 k/g you could have made $630 today. Do this everyday for the month & it's $19 k (which is highly unlikely due to market adjustment - but still). You can make an ass-ton of money if you using a good setup & have the ability to work markets.

Within 2 months or so you could actually set up your own gold selling network. That way you can cut out the middle man & get > $ 1.2 / 1 k gold. Expect to lose WoW account like a mofo tho, but who really cares since you are making way more than you lose.

cata is crap. thats right. the whole herb/ore market is dead, or most likely overfarmed
but there are some free spots
vanilla mats for example...gromsblood, sungrass, khadgar, fadeleaf, thorium, mithril, arc crsyt...so damn great
selling thorium 34-37g/ stack, elemntium...well i aint need that crap

mithril and thorium so easy to farm, 200ish nodes/hr

I thought you meant the whole market was crap.
If that is selling, I might farm that and get the 20k fast, instead of farming for pets.
So, you can do easy money with that, don't know why you said it would take a lot of time getting those 20k you need for the MoP key aswell.
