Hey all,

Been out of it for quite some time now.
But as some know I had some hardware issues which seem to be solved finally :)

My wife's account got hit during the PQR banwave (I escaped such fate even though I was using about every bot out there as well), but wonder what is the fastest way to get back up to speed.
Is there anything else besides adding a new license on the account (wife doesn't care about a possible ban or sharpened observation)?

I've read something about unattached SoR accounts for a reasonable price which you can then claim or attach to your Bnet account so all mounts and titles are available to you again.
Anyone has any experience with this?
Or any other advices or possibilities to achieve this (not talking about any levelling service, I have a bot after all :D).
Ofcourse the risk needs to be acceptable (I'm not in the market for wasting cash on blizz keys).

Thanks and have a good day :)
Regards, Liquid.

It's probably better to attach a fresh license to the account. If you attach a SoR account the names won't match and it's highly likely it's gonna get banned quickly.

To level up I'd set up RAF.

Have you exhausted your appeals, your best bet is to get the account unbanned. If you have you would want to buy a new set of keys and activate them on her Bnet. You do not want to go with SOR accounts as those are at a very high risk of being banned or locked in the future. RAF is much safer and would get her a leveled toon with all of her mounts/achievements back.

To be clear they are unattached SoR accounts (so it's not attached to any bnet account yet, hence no names are attached either).

She appealed to the ban, but response was the ban was permanent and would not be lifted (she used PQR in PvP to get started a bit because she was out of the game for over a year and it seems that's the part of people who all got a permanent ban, those caught using it in PvE generally got a 72hour one). She even got the advise/tip that she could buy a new license to start over again (no problem according to the rep).
I doubt you can appeal over and over again?
If anything else I would level it with a bot, haha.
The wife is not interested anymore (even though the account dates back from 2006 like mine).

Seen people appeal 3 times before getting it lift for the same reasons.

I will login to her account tomorrow to see what she has done so far.
I have no idea how many times you can appeal a permanent ban.
Will have to look into it, but at the same times I am looking into other ways to give her a playable account back without loosing time on levelling :)

SoR accounts are hacked accounts from before bnet accounts were required. There is a name tied to them, that person just hasn't tried to recover them. If you try to attach to a bnet account then the name of your bnet account and the name of the wow account won't match.

You can appeal a permanent ban as many times as you want, if they delete the ticket, close it , or ignore is up to blizzard after the 2-3rd response about it from blizz.

Also the lvl 90 boosts will probably be available soon (patch 5.4.7). Setting up a fresh account and buying a lvl 90 boost should also be an option in the near future.

Unless buying the level 90 boost costs more than $40 because thats how much your gonna be ($30 for MOP and battlechest first act)/ ($10 second account to cata RAF them together). If boosts are less than $40 then that will def bet he way to go but your still looking at buying chest+MOP+ boost = $70+ who knows :(

not counting the WoD pre order level 90 cause thats a one time thing.

has nothing to do with Hb,sorry
