Question on gearing up new lvl 100

I've read through the forums and guides but I can't find much guidance on this particular question. When gearing a fresh lvl 100, what are non-pvp options? I would care not to pvp as I feel it has a higher chance for being reported. I understand Tanaan has 650 baleful gear but a fresh 100 doesn't fair too well without some gear to prop them up to start. Do you let the bot finish questing in nagrand to have lvl 98 gear at least?

PVP gearing goes super fast even just casually using manual movement, your right not wanting to AFK it, But the pve grind is longer in my oppinion until you can gear a bit with LFR using your PVP gear

During the BG weekend blizz had, I was able to fully deck out a palladin in 1.5 days of 6 hour botting a day. I still do believe pvp gear is the way to go until higher lvl LFR or w/e it is you are doing.
