Hey I read something about Blizzard automatically banning you for grinding for 7 hours or more. Is this true? Would I get autobanned if I run a 1-60 leveling profile for 24 hours a day? The bot has full heirlooms.

I certainly do not believe Blizzard automatically bans people for grinding 7 hours or more. I just grinded 14 hours and I'm fine, but try to keep it human looking. 24 hours a day might very well get you banned. And if you grind for long periods of time, more people are likely to report you for botting, which could get you banned. I suggest running it maybe 8-12 hours to be very safe. As a reference I'd use what the average human plays.

And where did you read this ?

I believe it was on another botting website

Thanks, I guess I will only run it for 12 hours a day.

not true

but as an example if you are 60 level without a single auction and 1k gold
than they have a good reason for a ban

There is no autoban, else i would've get 100s of bans yet :D As it was mentioned above you will most likely get reported for grinding in an area for 2 long. If you can afford it simply use a Questing profile (no advertisement but I love the ones of Kick) and may you need a bit longer but if you get some quests people will not automatically think there is a bot when they see s1 grinding somewhere ;) But Questing will take longer ;)

Btw: normally run my bots 18 hours, on some days 24h per day. Works good, no ban yet^^ and on some days do a break^^ just act like you are unemployed and ony sleep sometimes :D

blizz is very careful to not ban innocent players..... they do not want to lose their $$. They even allow botting to some extent as long as you dont screw with other players or their business... kinda permissive. from what i know, they have automated system for gold transfers inter-account (if you make a 100k transfer you will get flagged and probably suspended), and for IP changes (to avoid acount theft). Most bans are due to player reports. I dont think they have any heuristic system for staying online too much time or killig the same mob too much time. Problem is: if you stay at uldum killing the same air elementals for 12 hours, you will be seen and reported by players for this bottish activity, just as people farmed sons of hodir fire elementals.... nobody stays killing the same mob for 4 hours i na small area... real-player grindin is gone long time ago.

if you plan level by grinding (which I strongly do not recommend), you better choose wide area profiles (such as botanists uldum one), where the bot will travel large areas and kill differente types of mobs.

nowadays, the safest way to level from 60 to 85 (and yet stable) is by flly-gathering with wide areas profiles.

BGs area a no-no....
