Hello,
As far as I've read on this forum, this protection list is always out of date by default and it looks like it doesn't suit people's needs (including me).
Is there any option to invert the way this works ? I mean, it would be really better to setup a "SellItems.xml" list instead. It could be shipped with some standard things and then everyone could add its own items to it depending on needs.
Even better, would be a level filtering option in xml tags. So that we can sell items depending on toon's level :
<Item Name="Ice Cold Milk" Entry="1179" MinLevel="15" />
In a SellItems.xml, this would mean: sell this item if we are level 15 or more.
Still, the most important thing is to turn this ProtectedItems.xml to a SellItems.xml and stop having our characters sell valuable materials because we can't think about ALL items BEFORE we get them.
Edit: Like many ones, I've lost loads of gold because it sold MoP's food components that were in my bags ...
