[Question] Battle-Net, WoW accounts and ban-hierarchy.

Hi Y'all

Wanted to give a try to HB/GB, but had a question that i need to know answer for first.

My BNET account has:

(1) My main WOTLK account (not ever botting from it)
(2) Some other Blizz games (which i dont want to lose)
(3) 2x unpaid Vanilla WOW (empty) accounts (which i used for Zhevra and Rocket mounts)

My question is: if i bot from one of my "vanilla" accounts (which i dont care about), and for some reason i get banned (banwave, my stupidity, wrong bot, etc), will it be only that vanilla account that gets banned (so rest of games, including my main WOTLK account stay safe), or will it be whole BNET account?

So question is, should i get another separate BNET account just for botting? Or is it safe to bot from one of the "unusued" vanilla wow's on my main BNET account?
Please bear in mind that i do NOT want to get my main account banned, under any circumstances.

P.S. yes, i know that "if i dont want to get my account banned under any circumstances" i shouldnt use bots. Lets skip that, shall we? :)
 
Ive got 2 banned accounts on my Battlenet at the moment, they both got ban hammered with perma bans individually. I have 3 other accounts that are still played and they have no issues, I even bot on them all at least 5 hours a day lol.

To be safe I would start another BNet account though cause things change all the time.
 
If you linked the vanilla accounts to your main account in any way (i.e. Zhevra and Rocket mounts from RaF) - I would be very careful about botting with them. I think you'd just be safer to use a different Bnet account. I use different B.net accounts for each of my bots.

but the thing is they could
 
I play Diablo II through my Battle.net account, and it would seem pretty stupid to ban me from DII for something I had done in WoW.
 
nah. everything ive read SAYS to TRY to not use the same bnet account, but that each account is individually handled on the bnet account.
