Question about Visual C++, X86 or X64?

Hi, im new to HB and just want to make things go smooth; i dont know which version of C++ to install on my pc, here's my situation.

I have on my pc Win 7 x64, so what im supposed to install, the x64 version of Visual C++ or HB REQUIRES the x86 that i find in all guides in here?
I also have loads of older Visual C++ versions on my pc, should i uninstall them all and only keep the new one?

I saw on guides in here that wow must be started in the 32-bit version, that point is clear.

Again, sorry if the question might be dumb, and for my english.

the links to both of the frameworks you need are there, just use and install those.

Might also work with the x64 version. But as you said:

to make things go smooth;

use the ones linked in the fast setup thread.
