Question about the detection built-in to WoW client might catch any bot in the market

Hello Everybody!


i've just read this "the detection built-in to WoW client might catch any bot in the market that does injection."


my conclusion is all account who have booted before this futur Update are TAG by blizzard.


So the next ban wave is for US again !)

Right or Wrong ?​
 
Wrong, since Tripwire is here to prevent detection and this time it worked :)

kek, both of you are wrong. There is absolutely no way to tell if our accounts have been flagged.

Nobody knows how the tripwire works, it is purposely mysterious. But apparently it detected code execution from the WoW client that Bossland devs are claiming to be the cause of the banwaves.

Does not mean this is the only method of detection that's currently in the WoW client. It is simply a good thing that they're able to discover one big detection method and deal with it appropriately.

The is way, how to tell if account was flagged.... Did detection code run? No because tripwire is here to prevent it.

No one will ever know... EVER..


It appears this time that the trip wire worked- However we could all be wrong- the trip wire went off but perhaps blizzard found it before that happen.. and just waiting for a few more 12 month subs to come through before the ban wave.

Never will blizzard or the bot makers disclose what's going on.. they both want this information kept shut clean.

What we have found is... WOW goes on sale just before the banwave hits :)

Hate to break it to you, but I'm not wrong about telling you there's no way to know for sure. The tripwire was tripped for one detection method. There's a possibility there's another detection method we don't know about and will get hit with spontaneously like the May banwave. If the tripwire works flawlessly, then it would've worked back in May, but it didn't. The tripwire isn't some kind of programming super power.

I hate pessimists as much as the next person, but after 2 strong banwaves, anyone botting today should just assume their account has been flagged.
 
Okay .... but the code from blizzard has not been added yesterday i think but Buddyteam have discover it today ....

because they say we have found the code who's reponsably of the last banwave :)

so that's the question

to be or not to be FLAGGED

now we have to wait the new Release :)

Stop 'crying wolf' and relax. If you are sure that you will lose your account, start over now & slowly transfer everything over.
 
Maybe Honorbuddy staff do this on purpose to scare us! have any of you guys thought about that?

HAHAHAHA!!! sorry i think this is funny.

Side note is that i think we should all calm down and let the tripwire do its job. It is what it was created for. For our accounts to be safe(ish).
 
man the real story behind the tripwire event is that the admins booked a 2 day vacation to Miami and they did a fake tripwire protocol so they could take that time off ....

HAAAAH!!!! DEVS I GOT YOU! :)))
