Question about the banwave: How can I see if my account is suspended?

When I log in it says banned (I got banned during the banwave). Is this supposed to say suspended? Cuz in the e-mail it says 6 month suspension. Is the e-mail correc? And does everyone has Banned when you login on the account page?

banned, means suspended yes. for 6 months.
