Ok so I have a SOCKS5 login thats comes with the VPN that I pay for and I input that into archebuddy, and it says 1:59:04 AM: Use proxy: ********************

So its using the proxy to connect to Trions servers, what my question is do I have to use my VPN that changes my IP address as well as using the SOCKS5 connection in archebuddy? or is that redundant..
I'm just not sure how it works... I know if I use my VPN to say to connect to an IP in texas it changes my ip when I look it up in google, so when I use the SOCKS5 connection is necessary to change my IP using the VPN or is it already doing that.

When VPN enabled - ALL outgoing connections run through VPN and using SOCKS5 is redundanant. But if you run more than one client at once - you can use proxies for separate ip. In this case theme is: COMPUTER > VPN > PROXY > AA. AA server receiving your proxy IP as client IP.
