Question about "skipping" acts

If I am level 59 in Act 1 hell, can I join a friend's game for Diablo and be able to skip all of hell and go into Inferno?

Or, do I have to do this for each act? like, join butcher game on Act 1 -> join last boss for Act 2 -> Act 3 -> Act 4 ?

You have to be level 60 for Inferno. But you just have to kill hell Diablo, no other quests necessary.

you dont even have to kill diablo just get in the game after your friend killed him and complete the final quest together
