Question about "blank combat routine"

Hey guys, I was wondering about something. I run through the forums many times just trying to learn new stuff the new tweaks for my Bot to run more efficiently. I have seen instructions download blank combat routine. I have never done this, my bot runs fine. What does this do? And why haven't I had to do it?

It's in the Trinity section. When you go to the Trinity thread it says download Trinity put it in the plug-ins and then download Giles blank combat routine. I was just wondering is that step included when you download Trinity? Or something separate that you're supposed to do? How does it apply? Obviously it's not critical becauseI couldn't run the bot, or maybe I'm just misunderstanding ..... Most likely misunderstanding lol

There are many combat routines for instance DB comes with Belphaegor which you probably run. You can customize Belphaegor in the DB -> Settings -> Combat routine.
The other popular combar routine which is Trinity combat routine (previously Giles blank) which you put into your Routine folder, and you can configure it via Trinity plugin settings if you have Trinity plugin installed...

Have in mind that you can use Trinity plugin + Belphaegor combat routine. So you can have trinity's loot rules and other tweakes and belphaegor's comat routine.

Combat routine is just a combat logic.

Trinity combat routine is mostly used and updated regulary i suggest you check it out and give it a try, but yeah maybe you won't see a differance in the combat, depends on the class and skills.

yes downloading and extracting Trintiy routine is a separate as installinga Trinity plugin.

Would you say the "trinity routine" is better? I will mess with it tonight when I go check my little buddy . My bot attacks fine ( I run a wizard ) but I would like him to be a little more beast so I can not mp3 with not so many deaths

if you have trinity installed and are using it, then you HAVE to run the companion combat routine that comes with it.

So it's automatically downloaded with it then I take it. It only has the 2 in my routines folder ( generic/belphagor) . It must work right from the plugin then right? I have seen the configs for combat but figured the were over ruled by belphagor .

Generic and Belphegor are included with the bot

if you want to use Trinity plugin tho you must install Trinity's combat routine (as described under Trinity's release thread)
