Issue: Honorbuddy not recognizing quests already picked up.

Detail: Using Cava's [Alliance] The Jade Forest(85-86). At times characters will pick up a quest and then immediately try to pick it up again endlessly. This happens in random spots for different characters.

Attempted solutions: Cleared Cache Folder in both HB and WoW directories. Run Wow with no addons enabled. Run WoW in both DX9 and DX11. Clean install of HB with no plugins. Different characters in different zones. Different Routines.

Result: After trying each of the above with no success, I would manually complete the Quest/Quests and turn them in. HB would continue with profile until it would invariably encounter the same problem.

Clean your Cache folder and CANCEL ALL Your QUESTS in your QUESTLOG

Than restart HB reload Profile and hit start ;-)
 
ultimately it falls on the profile developer, if you would please post the log and what quest your having the problem on in the thread for the profile, so he can work on fixing the profile.
 
The log is posted. I posted it here because it seems that many people are having a similar issue and this has happened to me using various profiles from different authors. The log relates to Cava's Jade Forest profile. Specifically, it picks up several quests in a row and then doesn't seem to recognize the fact that a quest is in the log. Here is the code from the area that the log is from:

HB turns in "Jade Witch", picks up "All We Can Spare", turns in "The Silkwood Road" and "The Threads that Stick", picks up "Find the Boy" and "An Air of Worry". Then HB continues to try to pick up "An Air of Worry" ad infinitum even though it is in my Quest Log. All of the information in the line is correct (QuestName, QuestId, GiverName, GiverId and coords) I can't see anything that could possibly be fixed. Also, I ran this exact same profile successfully the previous day on a different character.

I suspect, especially since many other people are reporting the same issue, that it has something to do with how HB caches and retrieves information regarding the Quest Log. am I missing something?

Wondering if anyone can answer this question. Is there anything in the profile that looks wrong? Is there anyway for me to resolve the problems I am having? As it is right now, it's almost useless to run HB for questing.
 
Ran into a similar issue, finally got it resolved by abandoning and repicking up a quest. I tracked it using the Developer Tools in HB and it does not recognize having the quest sometimes and since HB is not telling the profile that it has the Quest ID it keeps trying to pick it up, so it looks like it is somewhere between the bot and the game client, not sinking that the Quest Log has certain quests sometimes.
 
I got the same problem, and another one: There are a few times when there are quest rewards that it ends up "Unknown" in my quest log, hence why it tries to complete the quest over and over.

Just wondering how a profile that WAS working fine, now doesnt work at all with similar symptoms of people posting in this thread? The Bot goes down the Quest order thinking they are all complete when they are not.
For example, the Klaxii Dailies no longer work even though they did a few days back..

Basse is correct. When HB tries to continuously pick up a quest that is already in my logs, that quest is not listed in the Developer Tools. Have now tested multiple characters and multiple profiles by different authors and the problem occurs regardless of either. Clearly there is some problem with HB passing the quests correctly.

Any chance this will be addressed?
