Why is this shit so difficult to setup?! Couldnt just be built in!>? I have to use someones SVN?! Would seem to me the a legit bot would have something like this built in, and not have to rely on a 3rd party. Am i missing something!?
 
kick (the main quest profile creator) isnt a third party hes part of the hb team, quit being emo and get the svn.
 
I must admit that guy is right. Why the hell should a customer use Subversion (a software developer's tool) to use a software he purchased. That's just ridiculous.
 
You guys aren't forced to use Tortoise, or any other SVN tool. It's suggested that you use it to get the most up to date versions of things you use, such as plugins, routines, profiles, and bot bases. Most authors update and post to their repositories because it's easier to maintain. It takes more time to create, compile, compress, and add files to their original posts. SVN is more of a convenience tool. If you don't like using it, then a simple solution would be to not use it. Just download what's attached to the first post, and if it doesn't work as well as the version on the SVN, then that would be a sacrifice you're making for not using SVN. It's really not that hard, and Tortoise doesn't take up that much space, so why complain about using it?
 
Yes, it would be nice if the bot could do all of this. I wish it would install WoW for me as well, pay for it on its own accord, or even make the exceedingly time demanding profile development on its own. If you don't like the methods used, you can make your own content or plugins that solve all the problems. Plugins are starting to arise that will update everything for you, and install most of it to a point, but a universal solution doesn't exist due to conflict project behaviors and plugins.


Complaining isn't a Honorbuddy issue.

these are a few things you are missing

if you are having an issue with a plugin or profile. you need to post in the respective thread.
 
HAHA you paid for a BOT you got it. Profiles are like Gas for your Car. 100 of places to get profiles and you can even make it yourself. they give you tools to make your own . some nice people make them for you . so do not cry when some one makes it for you and you need to use SVN to get it.
 
Do not use SVN make your own. they have a lot of posts on how to do it. that's what you paid for a bot not the profiles.
 
i cant imagine how this guy will be when the bot start to stuck in quest or zones lol..

and patch 5.4 is just around the corner. lawl, good luck.
 
i have always wanted there to be a zip of all the profiles in kicks thread, the problem is he makes DAILY changes, so if he breaks something its going to stay broken for a week or a month, or who knows how long till he makes a new zip. so having a zip available to download is just not feasible.

thread closed, if you have a real support issue then please make your own thread.
