Same problem flying to halfhill as everyone else

so its working great but.. everytime the potion of luck fades off he flies to valley of four winds to sell even with 90% of the bag empty and the funny part is that he reaches the vendor at valley of four winds mounts next to him and sell all to gnimo (vendor mount)... how i can stop those useless travels and just renew the potion of luck and sell on spot?

This profile works for me flawlessly, people are doing something wrong. I advise using KeepBuffsActive to use potions of luck and it should work.

Maybe I'll try this and see if it works for me cuz it flys to half hill when the buff wears off on the profile itself

What if I don't want to use potions of luck? Those are 75g each on my Realm. I don't want to pay that. It only lasts for 20 minutes. If I don't have the buff it dismounts, kills 1 mob and then mounts and keeps flying to halfhill to do whatever, then flies back, kills another mob. That's it.

So what it requires the stupid potion to work?

EDIT: Made some custom changes to the profile. Seems to work fine now, not running back and forth from Halfhill any longer. Looks like it works really great. Thanks a lot.

Bigger pulls would be nice too. However I am using Ultimate Farmer and I have it set to pull everything so it does pull around 4 or so a a time now (mobs aren't packed that much anyway in this area) which means that it looks a lot more realistic from a distance.
Gonna leave this on overnight. Got 1 shard, and need another 9. If I can get 3-4 shards in 8 hours then I'll be pretty happy.

Farmed for about 5 hours, no shards and about 1800 kills. Seems to be working for others though so probably just bad luck for me.

Farmed also for 5 hours before the bot wouldn't empty bags and instead stood still and turned itself off.
Probably due to the edit that I made to remove the need for the potions. Ended up dying whilst I was sleeping because it stopped in a dangerous area.

5 hours or so. 1800 kills also 1 Skyshard and about 2k gold inc vendoring the greens + 14 stacks for cloth.

Going to run it now with these potions. If it doesn't make like 3k worth of gold/mats in 5 hours then I've wasted my money on them.

For maximum profit of this profile i advise using KeepBuffsActive, Tidybags (those I mentioned earlier) and Combat Puller (set pull factions to all). After farming, trade Spirits of Harmony into Golden Lotuses, windwool cloth into bolts and imperial silk from key chests into spellthreads, I usually vendor greens but you could just sell those which have 4 stats to AH and all other greens to vendor. All this netted me 13k in 4 hours of farming.

I ran this for 7 hours with potions the entire time.

Raw Gold looted 2k.
28 greens all of which sold on the ah for roughly 20g each. = 560g
34 Spirits of Harmony = 68 Lotuses @ 34g each = 2142g
---- So far we're at 4.2k.
White Trilium 36 @ 146g a stack.
Black Trilium 44 @ 136g a stack. --- = Roughly 700g.
----Lets round all this up to 5.5k
5 stacks of leather that I made into 2 hides because leather stacks weren't worth shit all on the AH. 2 x 145 = 290g
5 stacks of Ghost Iron ore @ 22g a stack = ~100g
Now I got like 13 stacks of Windwool.. but I can't make those into bolts. But bolts on the AH are going for 133g a stack. Can't remember how much windwool you needed for a bolt of Windwool tho. Was like 80 Cloth for 1 stack of Bolt Cloth. Idk
---- We're at about 5.9k now

What else is left to sell..? Absolutely nothing.

Now minus 2k that I spent on Potions of Luck, which is stupidly required for this profile to work properly.
Plus minus the Windwool that I can't make into bolts because I am not a tailor.

Left with roughly ~4k NET profit. Give or take a couple hundred. Not bad really, but it's basically the same as running Gundrak for gold. You just feel like you're getting more gold. I also got 2 Skyshards in that time tho.

So sorry. But I call utter bs on your 13k in 4 hours, I'd say you roughly make about the same. I'd like to see some proof and realistic breakdowns of what you are selling and for how much to get that amount.

Also I would like to mention there are a s-load of people even on my super dead realm who are farming this profile.

P.S. I haven't opened any chests with the keys yet, but I doubt you make like 10k just in silks from the chests..

you HAVE to open the chests, its the main part of the gold, the imperial silk, mats, treasures of vale, golden lotuses, spirits of harmony, it might not be 10k but still A LOT. Dunno about you, but in my 4 hours i got 60 keys, and thats quite a lot of gold (i even have a screenshot in which a SINGLE chest gives me 40g, 4 imperial silk and treasures of the vale), trust me

Okay fair enough.

I have over 350 Guo-Lai cache keys at this point from running this for about 2 days. I average about 500 kills an hour.

1. I didn't factor in those keys at all. I haven't sold them. Okay so the keys can actually be sold on the AH? I wasn't aware of this, as I don't think anyone on my realm is buying or selling those and the keys don't show a price in vendor or AH in the tooltip, so I think it's probably not going to make me remotely any profile what-so-ever. Is there even a profile to farm opening those caches?
2. I haven't bashed this profile at all, except to say that I think it's kinda stupid that it absolutely requires having the potions. It's just a personal preference. Though I think you are bashing me for not knowing exactly wtf to do with a huge bunch of assorted mats and other bs. Also I think it is important to mention that many other profiles (like Gundrak which I mentioned) base their GPH on EXACTLY what the profile does every hour (i.e. farming and vendoring) which is what I thought the other guy was basing his GPH on. How was I supposed to know he was refining those mats into other stuff? I'm not a mind-reader mate.
3. You're basing basically the entirety of your profits on those keys which you think you'll get 80g for each. If you look at my above post you'll see that it's all pretty accurate. I list just about everything you can get with those profile. Leathers, spirits of harmony, ores, greens, windwool and raw gold. When you factor in everything EXCEPT the windwool and keys/caches. You get basically what I calculated (I'm not wrong there). Now you're basing a huge amount of profit on the fact that these Guo-Lai caches have a ton of stuff in them that is worth hundreds of thousands of gold if you open about 400 or so of them. Umm... that's basically f all. An average of 40g x 400 keys, is about 16k raw gold. Fair enough. But the charms aren't worth anything, they're a separate currency. Plus the plans/recipes are profession specific (you have to have the current prof for it to drop) and those are only worth so much if you want to sell them. Banquets are okay I suppose. But the rest... 1 spirit of harmony? It's jack s- all.

Okay, if you can make that amount of money, then that's pretty cool, but I still feel like you're leaving something out, or you're super exaggerating. If you can make 14k every 4 hours doing basically nothing but transmuting, or recycling these mats into other things with maxed professions. Then answer me this..

Why the F*CK are thousands of people spamming Gundrak/The Botanica when they can make FOUR-TO-FIVE times as much gold doing this???

Thanks for the explanation. I haven't sold any cloths yet. There's probably close to 90 stacks sitting on an alt for when I bother to level up another alt's tailoring. That in itself is going to cost me a ton of gold just to max that profession. I suppose I could spend everything I have made doing that though.

Tbh though I don't think I am so greedy. That's what gets a person banned. Making hundreds of thousands of gold in just a few days of farming is what gets anyone banned. I make 10k or so and I'm happy. It pays for my enchants, leveling profs on alts and basically anything else I want. I already have my Jeweled Onyx Panther, Sky Golem, Depleted Kyparium Rocket. etc. etc. etc. I don't need 100k gold for really anything anymore except vanity bs that will not be worth anything in the future. As long as I can pay to have the best enchants, gems and profs for my alts and stuff that's all I care about. But thanks a lot for explaining not just to me, but to everyone how to make a good amount of gold on this profile.

Now I know why there are tons of people even on my super super supposedly dead realm farming these things and why the potions are worth twice as much as they should be.

To the guy complaining a few posts above me: no offence but you obviously have no clue what you're doing. Most profiles that are gold optimised should be ran with tailors due to the perk that gives you extra cloth, which is then shuffled into dusts/sold/auctioned. On some servers prices are dirt cheap (for instance frostweave is less than 15g/stack). Secondly for this to even come close to say 10k a night u need to open the chests. Even when i was manually farming with a shitty toon i was making tons of pure gold from the chests alone. As someone allready mentioned the chests also have a good chance to yield imperial silk and with 12 of those you can make a royal satchel that sells for around 2-3k depending on servers.

I feel its kinda sad and annoying that you come in here and start complaining about the lack of gold this profile makes considering you are doing pretty much everything wrong. Ive botted less than 2 months and this profile for me has been a goldmine even on a high pop server where i cant even get more than 300kills an hour due to competition.

On topic: good profile ive ran it a few hours a day, sometimes over night and usually come back to a few skyshards and tons of cloth/greens/keys. Easily made 100-150k with casual farming here.

Some tips:

-use a CC
-use tidybags 3 (plugin)
-use KeepBuffsActive
-use combat puller if u feel u need more mobs on you
-use potion of luck with aforementioned KeepBuffsActive
-be tailor/some other profession that can give you things like imperial silk
-spam trade for alani mount sale
-PROFIT
