quest bot stuck on one quest and cannot continue

Its stuck on "To the Rescue!" which is a well known messed up quest. The bot cant do the quest because the quest itself deserves to see its family die infront of it. Basically you have to wait for a lift to ashenvale but the lift never arrives. So, i tried picking some new quests up further down barrens but it runs back to this particular quest and realises it cant do the quest again so it takes a flight to crossroads and back over and over (supposedly to calm down)? how can i get the bot to quest elsewhere? Maybe if i swapped zone completely? Im using the quest profiles that come with a fresh install. Thanks

  • Horde - Ashenvale Quest "To The Rescue!" is having a lot more issues than usual. Blizzard broke it even more recently and haven't fixed it

Get quest, strip, Fly/Hearth to Org, fly back, talk to npc ... if he lets you mount the kodo - you should be good to go.
If the guy says 'the kodo is out watering bushes' ... then put in a GM ticket to complete the quest for u

There's nothing i can do w/o deleting 50% of ashenvale. So you can grind, bg, or instancebuddy to Level 23 and restart the profile if you don't want to GM ticket (make sure you didn't change IgnoreCheckpoints to True)
GM Ticket usually takes about a day. Sometimes they PM you, sometimes they don't."

ok im level 25 now from using instance buddy. I took another attempt at this quest and still failed after following your instructions. I started the bot and he still proceeds to fly everywhere instead of quest in other zones? shall i just do dungeons to like lvl 30? or will this bot forever try to complete this quest before levelling any further? i suppose ill have to open a GM ticket but id rather not.. thanks for your response really appreciate it

it worked :) flew me straight past the quest that has left many suicidal and took me to another zone :) praise the lord and kick! <3
