I wanted to post a suggestion to the community. I would love to take this on myself and start the momentous task, but I don't have the time personally due to family obligations.

I think the community could benefit greatly from a "Blogger/Reviewer" who has many many Alts whom they play in various ways at max level. Someone who has multiple years of WoW experience. (at least 2 or 3 expansions should be sufficient for their breadth of experience to lend context to their insights)

What I am suggesting is that through customer response and impartial reviews a person could start reviewing buddystore products initially on the categories I have listed in the title and obviously expand on those as time goes by. If enough people supported this process it would be yet another tool in the ongoing free enterprise which is the buddystore. During the course of these few short months of the expansion there has been a lot of over lap with products being offered. While the Buddy team has done an amazing job of protecting us there are many additional areas where would could pool our user knowledge in order to weed out the less worthy efforts and get people to focus on the best work.

Like any good society there are always out spoken individuals who shape people opinions because they have the time and knowledge others do not have, so they lend their opinions where people would listen.

This is not an exhaustive post, I just wanted to get the idea off my chest before I forgot about it. Would be nice to see a discussion on this topic.

Clarification:
Quality Control & Customer Service go hand in hand to address the needs of customers directly. Either by offering support in the way of directions to a paying customer who can't quite figure out the routine settings or by implementing updates based on customer responses when something is sorely lacking.

Transparency should be concerning change updates and security concerns and ensuring transparency where possible in all cases. Speculation on security issues are bad for the community as I'm sure everyone can agree (Ban wave chatter and wild theories abound all over the boards almost daily)

Review Process is basically what this is about. If someone can build a reputation through smooth and concise presentation as well as remaining impartial and fair. I think the reaction by the community would let the community developers give their work to this one individual for extensive testing and reviewing.

EDIT:
Wanted to add a few things that came to mind after I wrote this. The easy response is to say that customer purchase will weed out the failed attempts and lackluster performers, but the problem is how do we know? If someone wants to purchase something that does some garrison things which of the 3 or 4 options is best for their needs? Should everyone have to buy them all and try them for themselves? Of course not, we need a place where reviews of products can be heard and legitimate concerns are aired in direct relation to a given score. Basically like Amazon or IMDB. Are these systems perfect? Nope, but its fast becoming a necessity [Here on Buddy Forum]. A straight rating system would not work. There has to be a review process associated with ratings.

What eliminates routines, plugins, and profiles from the buddystore that are not performing well? I trust the buddyteam to keep my account safe, but i trust only myself concerning my bank account and wallet.

What do you all think?
