Yo, I have been asked where one should go now to get best PvP gear from scratch. I mean like a new lvl 90 toon, should I do BG's or go headstrong into an allout war in Arena with no gear?

Skills are low / below avrage.

If you have the gold, buy the crafted gear from the auction house/crafters. Then you will need to grind battlegrounds; once you're geared-up enough, you may be ready for arenas gear-wise. Of course, if you have a friend willing to help grind arenas with you, then by all means, go for it.
