PvP vs BG (beta)? Which do you use?

Sorry zen but this is incorrect.

Inside defaultprofiles folder there are 2 xmls for each bg.
One with a full name
Another with that is the shorthand

I don't remember which is for bg bot and for pvp...
But I am 90% sure the shorthand name is for BG Bot. (since it was created at a later date than pvp)
Edit, that last line is incorrect. It is actually the other way around (AV = PvP, AlteracValley.xml = BG Bot)

PvPbot supports custom recorded hotspots with Zaprecorder, BGbot(beta) needs brx,bry,tlx and tly in aswell as the XYZ co ordinates
 
Oh my bad, that's right, all profiles are twice in the Default Profiles/ folder.

No no no, the shortened one is for PvPbot and the Extended one is for BG bot (beta)
 
Personally, while Pirox is still available, and until BGbot2 comes out, I am actually using HB in Lazyraider mode, and using Pirox to queue up random BGs. So it is using their bg profiles, while all combat is controlled by my lazyraider CC. The best of both worlds atm =]. Farming like crazy all week long, working flawlessly this way. I have tried both PVP and BG bot, and both are VERY unimpressive IMO, but the combat system of HB is SUPERB!!
 
I have to agree, unfortunately PVP has never been a strong part of the HB market.. Which is funny considering it's name.. However I have been told there is a re make of the BG bot coming out which hopefully if coded properly would rectify everyone's doubt in the PVP capability.
 
Working on the profiles? Well I think they need to work on some of the mesh in alterac valley.
