PvP - Giving it a second chance !

Will you come back to this game after pvp hits ?

  • I actually like the game as it is, and will obviously play it even more when pvp comes.

I presume most of us botters are not very fond of endless grind and farm, and are probably playing this game like once a week, if even that. But will you come back to it on daily basis after pvp hits ? Dueling should be out somewhere at the end of this month with 1.0.7, will you give it a try ?

There needs to be a progress/rank system in PvP, that alone would keep ppl engaged in the game until further updates. In the future in would also like to see more content and events. The game can be really good imo, its just lacking content and was prematurely released.

First I gotta see how the PvP works for me to decide if I will play again

Youre wrong, they wont make another WoW clone because ppl are already bored with this game, atm they have issues with maitaining stable population lvl. Unless it will be f2p, with RMAH as main source of income for blizz, but i doubt they would find that profitable enough for an mmorpg.

It's a WoW replacement, not a WoW clone :p
6 Million remaining subscribing players can't just vanish into the void. Into Project Titan they go.
 
Those players may continue playing wow, blizz still hasnt quit with that game, according to their plans this game still should receive few expansions. Furthermore making game with intention to steal players from other blizzard game is illogical, if anything, blizz will try to make game which will attract players which they lost.
 
Diablo was and will never be a risk to wow, due to its limit in player content. PvP might become 4v4 at max, 5v5 who knows: but not 40v40. Neither will PvE content be more than 4 players. Meaning the raiding and RBG communities will stick to WoW, in their worst case scenario they perhaps steal some of their own players from WoW arena, but considering the RMAH i doubt that aswell.

It's also another team developing the game, they won't aim to steal each others players but they probably will try to be the best game in the company. They just haven't been really quick doing so however :P

Project Titan = WoW + MOBA PvP + Diablo 3 RMAH

We won't be seeing MOBA PvP in Diablo 3 anytime soon unless WoW flops so badly that it has to go Free-to-Play mode.

However it was stated that Titan will not be WoW2 or set in the WoW universe. Blizzard stated that it will be a new universe and story, but there are rumors that this is not exactly the case and there will be some connection with previous universes and games, but still different enough.
Furthermore there was a open position for online marketing for project Titan, so it was speculated that the game will have in-game adds of some sort, obviously it won't be like a youtube video where you need to look 10 sec commercials every video because Blizzard tries to not disrupt gameplay as much as possible(that why no captcha against bots in game), so i guess there will be more of future earth or current earth (sci-fi setting of some sort) in order to have adds on billboards,holograms or what not.
The reason i think it will be Sci-fi is because it will be hard to place ads on Cola, Hot pocket or what now in a not sci-fi universe.
