pvp / bg bot help

hi guys,
new to HB, started using it today ive only really tried the pvp bot and bg bot, but both of them seem really botty dunno if its a setting im not using or cc problems but im using amplify cc for a frost mage and i havent really changed the settings.
the problems im having is that it nearly always takes ages to target and start killing people
ive been watching it and it will run up to a player and sometimes wont engage till the player targets me, then it does some spamming and when that player dies it will just stay there not doing anything for ages then start moving again ive tried pvp bot, bg bot , and mixed mode with combat and pvp/bg bots and nothing seems to " improve greatly " any advice or if its profiles maybe a push in the right direction to the best pvp / bg profiles out there or plugins to make it attack anything on site not waiting for ages without casting anything :p

any help would be awesome

sounds like a CC issue

have you tried another custom CC?
 
tried the default singular one and amplifys one which seems a bit better but both do the same thing just waiting without casting anything as im typing here now im watching the bot in IoC which seems really bad :( at the start it wounted up, walked to the gate, stayed there for about 30 seconds then went back into the ally courtyard went up the tower and stayed there for about a minute and HB was showing " moving to docks " not its moving around quite a bit but im watching it target players and just watching them kill others :P without helping :)
ive tried looking at other cc's but i cant find many frost mage ones around:p maybe im just being a scrub and not looking close enough

only trouble is that i was looking at fpsware mage and it doesnt support


What it does not [yet] support:

Cold Snap
Deep Freeze
Ice Block
Frostfire Bolt
Spellsteal
Invisibility
which is basically half the spells u use as a frosty :P but i will check it out now for sure
 
yeah doing that right now :) also just wondering what is "pvpbot " there for then ? it seems alot worse than bg beta at least with bg beta it does target players :p with pvp bot it will just focus on a hotspot and try and charge through an army of horde to get to it :P
but again maybe its just me :p
 
PvPbot follows a path and does not scan for players in the area. Bgbot scans for players in the area and also captures points.
 
just tried the fpsware via svn and it seems to be worse than amplify :( now it seems to just run to the specific node that the bot sets but wont target anything till it gets there :( just ran past people on the road in ab getting killed and wouldnt help them at all :(

would using bgbot and combat bot mixed do anything for it ? or am i just being a noob ? :p
 
im quite new aswell to HB and i again am using amplicy CC.

i tried it on both pvp and Bgbot and Bgbot was much better IMo, but it definately does work mate.. its not faultless but tbh if u want that ..play by hand :-)

not looking for a perfect bot :P well :) but yeah its not so good when its just standing still watching people die :) does yours stand still alot and not casting anything? :)
 
thats why we are working on BgBuddy aka Bgbot2

to make it better and better :)
 
I also have this very same problem. Just runs threw the enemys and once it gets to the "point to click move place" it turns around then starts attacking lol. I would like to to just run, scan for a target then just go directly to it.

Use pvp mode

and believe me i am extremely greatful :D
i understand the amount of work that goes into making all of this work :)

also MadDog if you mean use pvp bot in the dropdown menu thats actually worse :P
 
on PvPbot there is no logic rather than running around and killing stuff
its very basic and simple
 
its really weird i botted a few bg's today while i had to go to the shops for an hour came back and it was going quite well hardly any stopping and watching etc. ( watched it for a bit when i came home )
then i got disconnected so i restarted wow and HB and no it seems really botty again :P its like it decides when it wants to work tidy or not :p
