[PureRotation] Warlock - The Ultimate Level 90 PvE/PvP Routine

Of course I wouldn't "Demand" immediate results. All though I am glad you mentioned you were working on Aoe for affliction, was thinking of trying that cc next through pure. If I may suggest though what logic is running for destro and chaos bolt vs. shadowburn. Would there be a way to read it as "execution phase" if the cast has already begun, stop cast and shadowburn? Of course this is easy to meter manually I just notice a lot of CB's going off rather tahn SB.

Chaos Bolts shouldn't cast at all when the target is below 20% HP. I'll have to double check there isn't a bad condition in there breaking it.

Have you got a log file infact? It should show "Chaos Bolt on <Unit> at X.Xyds - 25%"

I didn't relay the information correctly, you are correct it does not cast it below 25%. I am asking if there is a way say it casts at 27% and the mob/boss quickly drops is there a way to code a stop spell cast and use shadowburn if it detects the ability is now active (before the cb cast finalizes)? Or possibly code it so say 30% and lower it wont use chaos bolt. Of course this saving resources for execute phase. Idk how much it would change the overall dps of course because I am just hypothesizing.

It'll store the embers until it has a major +crit aura, or it's about to cap embers, so chances are you'll have plenty of embers at 20% HP.

It doesn't cancel the cast, it'll probably loose dps by stopping the cast than just continuing it.. i.e. if we cancelled the cast at 0.5s before it casts then you may as well let it land. Cancel it too early and you're still going to incur the 1-1.5s GCD anyway.

- Force Doom to refresh MultiDoT when Perfect Aim
- Added Perfect Aim to allowed auras for Soul Fire when shape shifted
- Changed conditions to keep better Corruption uptime
- Soul Fire when target <25% HP - ignore molten core procs
- Switch to demon form when Perfect Aim procs

Haven't added any new settings yet. The values set for demonic fury and when to switch in and out of demon form are the optimal number, so adding the ability to change it isn't a high priority.

- Removed setting Seed of Corruption count. Set to fixed value.
- Fixed attempting to cast Soul Swap when we have Soul Swap aura rather than just canceling it.
- Seed of Corruption will now determine if we have a soulburned version of SoC on the target ticking and need to spread corruption - will save 1 or 2 soulburn's that will instead be spent on Soul Swap AoE.
- Improved logic for acquiring a soul swap/SoC target.
- Improved AoE logic when >= 4 units.



Affliction *should* be in a decent state now. Would be good to get some feedback on it.

Seems to be working brilliantly mate. I'm not geared for affliction, but pulling over 120k unbuffed on dummies....bout to take it into a raid.

Okay that's pretty good. Let me know how it does on AoE fights, that had the biggest changes today.

It will just stop casting and not start again until I hit an ability manually then sometimes it will pick back up and sometimes not. Using Tyrael without framelock and PureRotation on Automatic mode with none of the default settings changed.

You need to enable framelock in Tyrael for PureRotation. Post a log file of the issues and i'll take a look.

tested with framelock enabled and the issues seemed to be mostly resolved. I'll mess with it some more and post logs if I have further problems. I have been using Pure with other toons without framelock without issues so didn't think to try that.

You should use Framelock with all PureRotation specs - they'll perform considerably better.

Perfect Aim is the buff from Lei Shen's trinket, however it won't (shouldn't) affect the routine if you don't have it. I'll take a look at Doom, thanks for the log.

How's affliction PvP mate?

Still a work in progress. I've had to disable the pet abilities for now (which includes silence) due to some issues, however the HB devs have kindly added Icon to WoWSpell for me so I can re-work it now hopefully.

Need to get curse of enfeeblement in - think I've decided how to add fear now (fear targets in melee range who are attacking us, caster if they're attacking us, or healer if they're healing someone who is targeting us). I'll then rotate on which units to fear (unless its 1 on 1 of course).

That being said, it should still work pretty decent. I'd definitely use hotkey mode though so you can control when to blow cooldowns or start AoEing.

This should be resolved now. Give it another go and let me know (I'm unable to test at the moment).

- Added settings for when to cast and cancel Metamorphosis. Suggest you don't edit these settings unless you know what you are doing.
- Dark Soul now casts once you are IN Metamorphosis form, not before.
- Imp Swarm now casts once you are IN Metamorphosis form, not before.

Can't get AoE for Destro to work with newest SVN.

EDIT:

Found that I must start in Hotkey Mode and turn on AoE then switch to Automatic mode to get AoE to work.
