[PureRotation] Warlock - The Ultimate Level 90 PvE/PvP Routine

I'm creating this separate thread due to the huge volumes of posts on these forums asking for a Warlock PvE routine.​

PureRotation does not support Movement or Targeting. Support for lower level characters is limited as it's designed for level 90 characters. It's designed for you to control the character, and Honorbuddy controls the spells.

Prefered BotBase: Tyrael (30 TPS -> Framelock Enabled).

How Do I Set This Up?
The most important part is to select which mode you want to use, Hotkey, Semi-Auto, or Automatic.

• Automatic; This mode will switch from single target and AoE modes when the units around your target exceed the value of setting "AoE Count". It will automatically use cooldowns on boss targets. You have the least control over the routine in this mode.

• Semi-Auto; This mode will switch from single target and AoE mode the same as Automatic mode, however you can control when to use cool downs or the 'special key' via hotkeys.

• HotKey; This mode requires the most focus, but is the most effective. Designed for progression raiders rather than LFR. You need to manually switch between when to single target, or AoE using hotkeys. You can control when to use cooldowns.

You then need to go through the 2 option panes. On the left side are generic settings (use trinkets, when to use trinkets etc). On the right side are those specific to the routine/class. Configure both those under 'Common' and your specialization.

hi Millz, i am very happy with pure rotation using destro, but, i reach 520 ilvl and 4/5 Tier, and alot of ppls say to me to raid in demon, becouse is better dps ...
u think is possible use pure rotation in demonology to raid?
i test in dummys but it is so strange.

Demonology had a full re-write not too long ago. It works pretty good but you need to remember that a lot of the spells (especially when AoE'ing) have short range, so you need to keep close to the units.

The Mannoroth's Fury talent makes it a lot easier to stay in range.

Demonology? Rain of Fire is a Destruction only ability. Not sure what the issue is with this?

Mannoroth's Fury does mean that you can't cast while moving, however Kiljaeden's Cunning is being nerfed in 5.4 (current PTR patch notes). For abilities like Hellfire/Immolation Aura, the increased AoE range makes a big difference.

If it's in Automatic or Semi-Auto mode, then it'll be switching into AoE mode when there's more than 2 units in range (depending on what you've got the setting as under 'Common'). It shouldn't cast Hellfire in single target mode.

I'd keep it at 2 unless there's a specific reason as to why you need it higher. There's hardcoded values in the routine which will determine when it needs to switch from just doing minor AoE (i.e. multi-dotting with Corruption and Doom) to requiring Hellfire/Immolation Aura.

I did download the right one, right? Cause the topic of this thread says PvE and PvP but in the configuration it says only PvE.

Did i download wrong or are they meant for PvP too?

I've just tried the affliction one and for some reason it targets Alliance, ride towards them, dismount -> waiting -> waiting -> waiting -> mount and keeps running and targeting but not attacking until attacked, then it responds with dots.

It's only for LazyRaider and Tyrael no movement or facing

Ignore the "PvE: " part, I just haven't gotten around to separating it all out yet.

The PvP part is still a work in progress, a few abilities are missing, and I need to come up with a solution for fear and diminishing returns.

As Goshinki states, it's designed for manual control, not for using with BGBuddy etc.

I've seen it, but I'm not convinced it's a good way to handle it. I don't like having huge lists of auras and abilities, I prefer to group using spell mechanics.

Fear isn't a priority at the minute, I can make it cast once every 10/15 seconds and avoid the DR all together, but i'd rather track it on all units in range, and tie in when to use other abilities so that places like arenas will make it nearly impossible for a healer to get a cast off (Fear -> Fear -> Silence -> Stun -> Fear etc).

Also, it seems to like to stay in caster form more than demon form, it will wait until it gets 1000 power before changing. An adjustable option for this number would be nice too. It only seems to want to use it while out of demon form. Also, it doesn't ONLY cast soul fire when the target is below 20% health.

530ilvl and it's only able to get me about 130k dps on the dummy. Sometimes it just sits there doing nothing until I get a molten core proc, also it has an issue keeping corruption up it seems. Either way, this one still blows the other routines out of the water for demo.

Last time I ran simulation craft it suggested the highest dps is to use molten core when it procs, regardless of form. I can certainly add a setting to toggle this though.

This was a complete oversight. I'll change the code.

It tries to stay close to max demonic fury so when you have dark soul active you can nuke for the full duration. I'll have to re-work some code to be able to add a setting for this, otherwise wild imps / dark soul will never cast.

Definitely would love to see the pvp side, I love it for pve. If you need any testers let me know, I will be more than willing to assist any way I can.

Still need to do some more work on Affliction's AoE, then i'll be back to working on the PvP aspects. Obviously i'll be fixing issues in between (such as the above).

Of course I wouldn't "Demand" immediate results. All though I am glad you mentioned you were working on Aoe for affliction, was thinking of trying that cc next through pure. If I may suggest though what logic is running for destro and chaos bolt vs. shadowburn. Would there be a way to read it as "execution phase" if the cast has already begun, stop cast and shadowburn? Of course this is easy to meter manually I just notice a lot of CB's going off rather tahn SB.
