Pure can see an aura proc within 20-50ms of it happening (+ client latency). The only thing throttling us is the GCD. Simulationcraft also accounts for client lag when setup correctly though.
We've tried coding some of the simulationcraft scripts directly into pure (Mirabis did it for balance druid, Storm did it for destro warlock) but they both did less "real damage" than what they simulate, and our variants of the rotation actually performed better.
