PureRotation V2

Hello,

Regarding the fire mage rotation, is it possible to add a condition on when to cast combustion ?
The CC casts combution as soon as there is an ignite on the target regardless of the amount of the ignite is applied on it, which is a HUGE DPS loss.

Also, the Pyroblast proc shouldn't be casted instantly, instead it should be queued until you get a Heating up procs then cast a Fireball with an Instant Pyroblast at the same time. It would give so much more instant Pyroblasts and make insane DPS.
 
Hey - It worked when I coded it, but you're the only person that's ever commented to say they've tried it out, so i'll have to take a look at it.



Demonology is difficult to code as the rotation changes drastically depending on what you're fighting. We code it primarily for the boss fights, but on trash it'll not dump demonic fury the same as on a boss. It's also very slow to get started while building up demonic fury (but granted, does very good dps once it's got going). Then of course it's limited by what it can do due to range checks (i.e. we don't trigger immolation aura until units are in range, but the routine can't (well, doesn't) tell you to move closer).

On the flip side destruction is very high dps to start (burst damage), then slows down as the fight goes on.

Another thing to consider, is that I'm destruction at the minute (so naturally gets more of my time/focus).

v2 isn't released yet, we're still working on it. It's on the SVN under the /branch folder, but we're changing it lots at the minute, so it's not always working (i.e. as I type this there's a big issue breaking most of the routines). I don't recommend raiding with it yet.

Replied to your PM. As mentioned in there, fire mage has had a number of changes in v2 (which will be going live soon - we were nearly ready to release it over the weekend but have stumbled upon some new major issues that need resolving). The routine will try to line up 4 instant pyroblasts in v2, then cast combustion. Also - credits to Toney001 for helping with fire mage.

It should be used before a Healing Rain or a Greater Healing Wave on moments of high damage. So I guess just use It on cooldown would be the most easiest thing at the moment seeing as It's only a 15 sec cd. I'll keep playing my resto shaman and try to contribute as much as I can, no one has died In a 5 man hc dungeon yet with mostly season 12 pvp gear so thumbs up! :)
Assume it should be used on cool-down then? Or should it be used before a specific spell? None of the dev's play a resto shaman so let us know what the ideal scenario is and we'll sort it.

I'm a two handed Death-Knight and it appears to do the auto AOE or Dual wield rotation as standard. I'm playing with the strength polearm from ToT so I'm not entirely sure if this is causing it to automatically use dual wield. Set AOE targets to 10, still casts the howling blast/frost strike rotation on the dummy. I have made sure I am not in the AoE setting either.

Had a quick read on icy veins and it suggests it's not a great ability to be wasting a GCD on, so I've added it to be cast when there's no healing spell required (i.e. as a filler). Also added Elemental Blast while I was on.

Hey there I really like the Brewmaster CR of this routine except for the fact that is uses Guard on cooldown which looks really silly when you're off tanking. I tried with CDs enabled and CDs not enabled, but it still used it every time the CD was available. Any chance there is a way to turn it off so I can use it manually and I'm just not able to find it?
 
Doesn't use Tiger Fury and Incarnation in Feral.

Set to automatic mode. Am I doing something wrong?

SV hunter rotation does not seem to be working very well. I just did 2 bosses LFR and 504 SV hunter same talents almost same secondary stats but less AGI and 483 gun (I am 505 with 504 gun), beat me with 10-15k dps on both bosses.
Some stats from Scada:
Explosive shot - him 356 ticks ; me 273
SS ticks - him 251; me 200
Auto shot - same numbers
Cobra - him 132; me 112
GT - him 68; me 61
BA - him 165; me 140

Total dmg done: 58 mil vs 48 mil.

BM spec rotation is even worse. One example: Kill Command does not get used on CD.
 
Can you add an Alter Time 2 pieces bonus button ? It cancell the effect before the buff land on the mage. When you don't have the set bonus it's pretty good. Other things are really fast and good like rune of power in combat when moving. I remember it was a pain first times =)
 
I would just like to make a request for Protection Paladins:

Is there anyway you could make it where we have a hotkey or option to turn off holy power usage abilities for tanking. Like SoTR and Word of Glory. This will allow you to at times when needed coordinate SoTR mitigation with incoming large spikes of physical damage. AKA Ji-kun Talon Rake, Tortose and Horridon etc..

This would make tanking heroics much easier and more consistent.
 
any ETA on pure v2?

mages are basically broken in Pure. (as described in a earlier post of mine is this thread with log included)

and one of the pure guys said the problem is fixed in v2. and with atillo's Kingwow CR's not being updated due to him having computer trouble, mages are in bad shape!

we need v2!! :-)
 
Any in pure are making shaman ele rotation?? I try raiding my alter for weekends raid guild, and like use elemental, but i see that the rotation are old and no refresh dots and burst good.
 
Trying out windwalker. It's performing very well. However, I'd like to see an option to turn off Xuen and let me cast it manually, since it often casts at terrible times ie phase 2 on Lei Shen.

Need more details -> What spec? Using trunk (Version 1.2.3)? Does the buff from 'expiring' not occur when manually cancelling alter time (by recasting it?).

Mages have lots of changes in v2 (including changes to alter time). Frost in particular is working very, very well (dare I say perfect?)

My destruction warlock is not using shadowburn in the rotation, why is that?

Your target needs to be below 20% hp. The routine does use it. Need a log file if its not working.

Not sure, fixed most of the big stuff. Saying before the weekend isn't unrealistic, but I don't want to give dates as we don't know either.

Elemental was working fine when I coded it. Can you provide a log @ diagnostic level please?

no eta yet, but u can test it at everytime u want :) all of u have access to it.
The only issue - we can't garantee that all is working since we are updating V2 a lot within the last days (but the most DPS-Classes should work already since we are focussed on healers atm)
