On the automatic mode, the CR doesn't seen to figure out when start the AOE rotation.
The CR isn't using Pestilence to spread the dots.
Singular is working better on AOE and PureRotations better on Single target.
Read the suggested spec maybe? Pestilence is a wasted GCD as you should be using Rolling Blood for several reasons I'm not going to waste time explaining. Blood Boil will spread AND refresh diseases as well as keeping weakend blows up.
Not sure your Runic Power issue, I have mine set to bank enough to fire DRW for me on CD basically. This along with the proper build and the AOE dmg is insane, mine is ez 160k on any kind of trash pull.
To the CC writers the CC is awesome, I will post some comments as food for thought though, just my real life experiance playing a DK since Beta WOTLK.
My only curious comment/disagreement is the Glyph settings lol. No need for DRW unless your gear REALLY sucks, threat is NOT a DK's week spot lol, and the 25% reduction from glyphing it really hurts your DPS, which in turn lowers your threat as well, it's a loose loose situation (unless your wearing greys I guess lol).
Death Coil Glyph, Huh? Thats, well, I dunno what to even begin to say about choosing that lol (on a Blood DK).
IMO, always roll with #1 and see comments for 2nd and 3rd glyph:
1) I find Anti-Magic Shell Glyphed makes magic, magical;-).
2) Vamp Blood is great for instances and heroic 5 man's as the extra Stam is a nice safety margin. So I DON'T use it when I don't know if the healers suck, or any 5 mans. I always use it in LFR (6 healers spamming you), Normal/HC Raid - again more buffs, and healers spamming you.
3) Icebound Fort - I find that I know when I'm about to get the shit kicked out of me, and would rather be able to stop it more often. I think a bot would agree.
4) The wildcard of choice for me is Death and Decay. In 5 mans I tend to kite stuff ALOT in a circle, of DnD lol. On the flip side, in a Raid I don't kite much ever (not where the speed debuff would help at least).
So for Major Glyphs I run:
AMS, DnD, and Vamp Blood for 5 man content and day to day.
AMS, IBF, and Vamp Blood for 10 man normal or Heroic, and lfr's.
Minor Glyphs for a Blood DK Tank:
1) Path of Frost (Fall dmg reduction)
2) Resilient Grip keeps an extra taunt available (boss is immune, he STILL attacks you for 3 sec, and with this it doesn't go on CD so can be used again and again)
3) The only situationally useful glyph is Army of the Dead. Most of the time I want the bosses attention, not him spinning around and around. With AoD Glyphed, you still get the benefits of the dmg reduction during the channeled cast, and the minions just add dps, great for bosses. For trash I don't so much mind if the little shits take agro and dmg away from me (other than the vengeance lost from mobs not attacking me anymore).
Tranquil Grip should NEVER be used for blood.
If you do the math Blood Boil scales much better with gear, AP, Vengeance, DRW, and so on than Heart Strike. I rarely even use HS any more due to this. BB keeps diseases up, spreads them, refresh's Weakened Blow's, and does more dmg.
Sometimes, I like to use Remorseless Winter, Chilblains, and Glyph DnD if I'm going somewhere and want to be an AOE kiting king. With 50+ mobs the stun from Remorseless Winter means you can still actually cast BB to kill shit lol.
Just my 2mg's,
Bob
