It would be great to have a function to import or paste a text file with proxies, rather than having to enter IP, port, and type individually. I try to avoid using my home IP and public proxies go down frequently, so if I could have PF run through a list until it connects to one, that would be awesome.

ditto

Are the public proxies blocked by niantic?
I mean, is it dangerous to use public proxies for banning?
I would appreciate such a list too.

it is stupid and makes absolutely no sense using public proxies.

If you want to get banned (faster), go for it and use them.

@DaSoul: This is what I'm thinking, sorry for my bad english ;)
But also when I'm buying a proxy account. Every proxy-server-provider has its range of ip-adresses, so also these range could Niantic block or not?
It's only brainstorming, I used PF only within my city without proxy :)

First thing that needs to be taken into consideration is, that proxy ≠ proxy.

An elite/high anonymous proxy server isn't even detected as a proxy because the specific header information is deleted from packages while cheap, crappy and slow public proxies identify themselve as a proxy so Niantic directly knows what's going on and maybe easily swing the hammer.

if you want to use a proxy, pay for a decent one.

Given the amount of issues that could be presented with this idea, at this time, I will be leaving this suggestion off the table. DaSoul has actually mirrored alot of what I would say, there is so many issues that can come of it, and if you want a real "proxy" you are going to have to pay for it, and if you are paying for one, its a few extra seconds to cut paste the info in for yourself. There is truly a difference between a feature and a redundant un-needed feature, and unfortunately unless you can maybe explain better the logic behind this idea, I will have to pass on it.
