With 1.9.5.9 and the new /hb2/Settings folder....

Does ProtectedItems.xml go into the main hb2 folder or the /Settings folder?

afaik that file is part of the DHX protected items plugin, you should ask the author.

For what it is worth, the plugin stopped working for me no matter where the file is. I now add the protected items directly in the profile.

ProtectedItems.xml is default HB, no plug in needed. Unless something changed since i've been gone.

IMHO, this was a dang good question!

After some experimenting, it appears that ProtectedItems.xml stays where its always been... in the <HB_install_dir> proper.

I've updated a "Thing to know" in the Wiki to make this clear, if you find different let me know, as my tests weren't extensive.
